Compared with 2019, the reported violent crime rates are:
• Violent crime: +53.09%
• Murder: +249.22%
• Rape: +132.81%
• Felony assault: +133.59%
• Robbery: -3.42%
These figures do not include the latest broad daylight murder earlier this month in th deadly and dangerous NYC subway..
When nearly every major violent crime category has risen dramatically since 2019, no amount of political spin from Kathy Hochul can change the reality riders face underground.
It doesn't have to be this way. Change is possible.
