As we promised, we have started withdrawing UPDF from Somalia. After 20 years of a lot of blood and sacrifice we are handing over security to our Somali brothers.

Yes, sometimes I tweet about Beyonce and Nyashes and other unserious things. But that only proves that I am a normal man. I'm not a robot. Mandela used to dance, Fidel used to smoke, Churchill used to drink. No one is perfect except Christ.

People who don't understand why I tweet are political novices. I have more reach than any media house in the country. How else will I communicate with millions of my countrymen at the touch of a button?

There are no jitters in the economy. It is simply transitioning from a period of extreme liberalism and indiscipline, where speculators and conmen robbed Ugandans of trillions of shillings, to one of order.

I thank General Mohamed Ashraf of Egypt for delivering a special message to me from his government. Uganda and Egypt are brothers whose historical relationship can never be broken. I look forward to stronger Uganda-Egypt relations going forward.

I thank Hon.Musa Ecweru for his very firm statement in the media against anyone fomenting trouble in Teso. Especially, Private Elweru. I completely support his position.

Some of the strongest supporters of PLU are women. They are fearless fighters. I have decided to form a Women's League of PLU. I shall announce the chairwoman soon.

I hereby order all PLU members to stop discussing Mzee's paper delivered to the NRM CEC recently. Leave these matters to me and Mzee. Focus on the endorsements from the people.

No one can doubt the fearlessness, courage and honor of PLU! When everyone else was scared we rose up and defeated the terrorists of NUP. Long live Christ the King!

I have told our soldiers not to kill Elweru but to bring him to me alive. I want to talk to him.

From now on before one is promoted to the rank of General in UPDF, they will undergo a psychiatric evaluation to determine if they are sane or not? We will not have another loony like Elweru. Also, from today all UPDF senior officers will take annual fitness tests.
