Breaking my silence: I DO think ghoulcy is gonna be canon endgame but not until season 6+. All my OTPs have become canon & I’ve got a pretty good track record for seeing the early signs but if I’m wrong this time? I’ll cross that bridge in 2033 & enjoy our fics & art regardless

Headcanon that Lucy had nightmares early on in their travels but instead of verbally acknowledging it to offer her comfort, the Ghoul just parked himself nearby when they slept so he’d be the first thing she saw when she awoke and she felt safe enough to fall back asleep 🥹
