We cannot keep playing games with people's health! Yesterday's appalling Supreme Court decision is a travesty. Congress must fight to codify abortion and other rights into federal legislation.
Thank you to the NJ Building Trades for their kind endorsement. Nothing makes me more proud, than earning the support of the labor movement.
I am delighted to announce that the House passed the Payment Choice Act. I wrote this bill to make it illegal for retail businesses to reject cash payments. This is a huge win for folks who don't have access to the banking system!
Congratulations to our new South Ward Councilman Patrick Council and West Ward Councilman @doitallfornwk on their victories tonight! Both will do excellent work alongside @rasjbaraka to keep Newark on the right path. newjerseyglobe.com/local/pat…
We have an obligation to make sure everyone in this country has access to life-saving medicines. I know firsthand what people are going through, and I will always fight for them! youtu.be/tRLc6XHoHJU?t=4146

I would like to congratulate @Akil4Congress for running a positive, issue-oriented campaign in #NJ10. Voters benefit when they have the opportunity to make choices, and I’m sure Akil will continue to serve our community well as an author and professor.

Congratulations to @DonaldPayneJr on a dominant victory last night. You can’t reach an astronomical number like 83% in a heavily contested election without having an outstanding record and running a great campaign, and I was honored to be part of it! – at North Bergen, NJ
