Here is the truth that Democrats who support Abdul El-Sayed are unwilling to grapple with. He says he “struggles” with the existence of Israel, and considers Iran morally superior to them. He is openly supporting terrorism. There is no interpretation possible other than he supports terrorist ideology. There is no difference in his NatSec goals and jihadist goals, which is our extrication from the Middle East and the annihilation of Israel. In order for Israel to stop existing, Hamas would have to win. This would lead to the ethnic cleansing of everyone there, a second Holocaust. It’s impossible to talk your way around that reality. I don’t know if I’m the only Democrat left that remembers Bush winning in 2004, but normal Americans outside the DSA are not terrorist supporters and never will be. I’m not “Islamaphobic” to be horrified at the prospect of terrorists slaughtering 9.3 million Israelis and capitulating to a literal theocratic regime with torture dungeons. I’m actually just normal and don’t hate Jews.
