Have to laugh when you see the board ball garglers panning ‘fan media’ for something a guy said. Here’s an obvious truth. Fan media is not a homogenous blob. There are different standards, styles & angles. Like anything else, there is good and bad. You get to choose what works for you. Collective responsibility for completely disparate groups is a nonsensical and illogical position. Like blaming the BBC because someone swore on Channel 4.

This is why I’ve always thought the term ‘fan media’ was nonsense.
There are some excellent Celtic websites and podcasts out there, run by people who put an enormous amount of work into what they do.
Then you have numpties like this getting behind a microphone and coming out with something abhorrent.
The comments deserve every bit of condemnation they get. Even if it was passed off as a joke.
But it does show how ridiculous it is to have such a broad label covering everyone from serious independent journalists to any idiot who fancies starting a podcast.
Some of the best Celtic coverage comes from independent outlets who aren’t afraid to be fiercely critical of the club when the moment calls for it. They’ve earned their reputations through their work and should be judged on that.
I’d hate to think anyone was using the likes of this to undermine the credibility of those outlets. That would be a pretty desperate argument.

I'm honestly so upset that someone is using a picture of me as their profile picture and saying stuff like this. I don't care that people attack me personally but when you use my picture as your profile picture and then say stuff like this about children or anyone for that matter!... it's absolutely sickening and pure evil.
