🚨 NBA HISTORY
Only TWO rookies since 1995 have recorded 100+ points and 40+ rebounds through their first five career games:
Victor Wembanyama (2023-24)
Yaxel Lendeborg (2026-27)
INSANE START🔥
Steph's incredible. This past summer, he saw a video of this kid from Minnesota making a long 3-pointer in a game in his school gym. The crowd went crazy and Wyatt, wearing a Curry jersey, did the night-night celebration! Steph sent him a video and invited him to tonight's game!

Valkyries are ONE win away from an WNBA title.
I hope everyone — women's basketball fans, sports fans, everyone, really — takes a moment, maybe multiple moments, to recognize just how absurd this is. This franchise did not EXIST two years ago. It was not a thing.
Today it is inching tantalizingly close to the sport's mountaintop. Like, holy crap.
Becomes only the third Warriors rookie in franchise history to record 31, 12 and 6 in a game. The others? Wilt Chamberlain and Rick Barry.
Yaxel WENT OFF in Golden State's win 🔥
31 PTS (career-high)
12 REB (game-high)
6 AST
He becomes the first @warriors rookie since Steph Curry (2/10/2010) to record 30+ PTS, 10+ REB, and 5+ AST in a single game!

Jimmy Butler on how he’s feeling and what’s a realistic target date for his return:
“I’m feeling great. Surgery went well. We’ve been obviously doing this rehab thing, going through that process. But all in all, I’m back moving on the floor, some running, jogging, doing all of that, the beginning steps of all that. As far as a target date goes, I wouldn’t want to be a liar, so I don’t tell anybody a target date. But as soon as I can take the floor, I promise you I’m getting back out there and competing.”

“Wichita doesn’t get enough credit. And neither does The Roundhouse.”
That's how @SLAMonline opens its tribute to Koch Arena, naming Wichita State's home one of 64 bucket-list experiences in college basketball.
