👇🏻 Tokyo after bombing 9-10 March 1945. Over 100K dead & a million homeless. 41 km2 precisely = G@za. "the population density of the Gaza Strip in the 21st century has often exceeded the density of Tokyo during the peak of World War II" Look familiar?

‼️A new UN report exposes how influential international media outlets distorted public understanding of Israel’s conduct, facilitated genocide, and obstructed accountability. Its key recommendation is simple: Media organisations must stop laundering propaganda through the journalistic form. Read the report here: docs.un.org/en/A/81/249

We have a question for Lord Wolfson: Did your son fight for the IDF in Gaza?

It’s polling day in the only democracy in the Middle East that is carrying out a genocide—and the big question on every Zionist’s lips is: Should we choose the guy who is currently destroying Gaza, or one of his rivals who think they could do a better job? Prime minister Voldemort seems unlikely to win this time around, but he might hold onto power if he can form a coalition with some of the most evil villains in existence. Again. Many Zionists think it’s time for Voldemort to step aside, but I don’t think we should forget his contribution to the Greater Israel Project. He’s the guy who funnelled $1 billion to Hamas and then ignored warnings about October 7 so he had an excuse for genocide. If it wasn’t for Voldemort, Gaza would still be standing, so we owe him a lot. On the down side, he keeps losing fights to Iran and also to an 11-year-old boy, and that’s a bit embarrassing. Voldemort’s main challenger is Sauron. He’s a controversial character because he prefers a moderate approach to genocide. He wants to make Israel look respectable while it expands its borders to encompass all of Middle Earth. The former IDF chief is known for his patient approach towards Lebanon known as the Dahiya Doctrine. Here’s what he once said about it: “What happened in the Dahiya quarter of Beirut in 2006 will happen in every village from which Israel is fired on... We will apply disproportionate force on it and cause great damage and destruction there.” Sauron has criticised Netanyahu for security failings on October 7, but he could not explain how he would’ve started genocide without those failings. The incoherence of his message is Sauron’s biggest weakness, but if he’s finally got the One Ring, this race is over. Western liberals are hopeful that a nice guy like Sauron can take control of Israel so that they can blame the country’s recent crimes on Voldemort. If he loses, there’s a real chance that Voldemort could face the wrath of the law. No, not for genocide, silly! Israelis will give Voldemort a medal for that. But he might have to pay one or two of the parking fines he’s been dodging. Accountability for politicians is what separates a real democracy like Israel from all those savage countries that it can’t stop bombing. Voldemort actually wanted to start bombing Iran again, so he could postpone repayment of those parking fines. However, the current IDF chief is too principled for that. He doesn’t want to start an illegal war until the matter of those parking fines is resolved. The other challengers in this election—Darth Vader, Skeletor, Mumm Ra, Mr Burns, Bowser, and Hannibal Lecter—are unlikely to win outright, but depending on how things pan out, could still find themselves as part of a coalition. Their views on genocide are certainly interesting. For example, Darth Vader wants to fire a Death Star at the last partially functioning hospital in Gaza, and publicly execute his opponents with a psychic throat grab. Skeletor wants to create a cosy holiday resort in Gaza and hopes to rebuild Castle Greyskull over the bones of Palestinian children. And Hannibal Lecter is eager to turn Gaza into a human cattle ranch. The other contenders are far too moderate for my liking and are best ignored. All that matters is that whoever wins, Palestinians will keep getting murdered, Trump will be blackmailed into restarting the Iran war, an Epstein statue will be built in Jerusalem, and everyone who criticises this insanity will be called an antisemite.

Scots are a people with the inherent and inalienable right of self-determination under the UN Charter. We have a right to national Independence It is impossible to believe both that Scots have a right to self determination, and that Independence requires permission from London

@angelalevin1 “Are you trying to blame this on me?” That’s what you said to Louis Theroux after admitting a nurse at Stoke Mandeville Hospital told you Jimmy Savile was interfering with paralysed little girls in their beds. You did nothing. You cited the libel laws, his powerful connections, and the millions he raised for hospitals. Those connections included the Royal Family, the same royals you’ve spent years defending and writing about. Jimmy Savile used that access and status to abuse hundreds of people (official reports later recorded 214 offences, dozens of rapes, victims as young as 8). Now you go on TV to moralise about Meghan and her family. The reality check is simple, you had information about one of Britain’s worst child sex offenders and stayed quiet.

The latest betting odds show the Israeli election is now a foregone conclusion. Bookmakers say there's a 100% that a supporter of genocide will be the next Israeli PM. You heard it here first.

Palestine is also one of humanity’s oldest toponyms, and records of a people named after it are as old as literacy itself. On the temple of Medinet Habu near Thebes there is inscribed in hieroglyphs the name of the people who had invaded from the North who the Egyptians knew as the ‘Peleset’. The inscription dates from the time of Pharaoh Ramses III, and was carved in 1186 BC. The cuneiform inscriptions of the Assyrians mention the ‘Palashtu’ who lived on the southeastern Mediterranean coast from about 800BCE. The Book of Genesis in 21:34 says clearly that after migrating from the city of Ur, that the Patriarch Abraham lived “in the land of the Philistines.” Herodotus, the Father of History, describes the same area as “Syria Palestina” (Παλαιστίνη) around 480BCE.

To answer your second question, I have covered and written about the region both as a journalist and historian for forty years. In the 1990s I walked and hitched from Mount Athos to the Kharga Oasis in Egypt writing about the fate of the Christian communities I passed through, living for a while in Jerusalem, an experience I turned into my award-winning book, From the Holy Mountain. To date I've written more about the Armenian Genocide and the 1947 Partition of India than the Nakba, but since the beginning of the mass-slaughter of Palestinians, including some 22,000 children, I feel it's my duty to speak out. As my brave and brilliant friend Ben Moser said in the Guardian this morning, .“I think that at a time of genocide, you can either sit on the sidelines and exempt yourself from criticism. Or you can, as they say in Brazil, give your face to be beaten.” Now it is my turn to ask you a question. What is the reason for your total indifference to Palestinian suffering and death and your readiness to dismiss it and recycle on your feed any nonsense that diminishes it? Should I assume you don't really regard them as fellow human beings with the same rights as yourself, or is there another reason for your lack of humanity in this matter?

I have literally spent the last month trekking around Jordan interviewing elderly Nakba survivors and hearing their harrowing stories- and just completed a three hour video interview on Saturday night. No one I talked to left before multiple neighbours or family members had been shot and killed. Few of them had any weapons of any sort to protect themselves and if they did they were ancient Turkish muskets. Their opponents were armed with modern, newly-imported Czech rifles and many had been trained and drilled by the British. It became simply suicidal to remain, though many old people tried to so. The guy I interviewed on Saturday fled with his mother after their village was bombed. Their father remained and was loaded onto a truck to Gaza, at gunpoint, by the Haganah. Many of the family members that remained in Gaza have been killed in the last two years

I hope Netanyahu wins today. Any other outcome would make zero difference to the material conditions and futures of Palestinians. But it would serve as the perfect drug that Israel needs to pacify us into thinking its society is redeemable.

For Israelis, today is an election. For Palestinians, it's just another day of genocide.
🇵🇸💢 NEW: 6-year-old Tahani Mohammed Saeed Shalalfa was killed Tuesday morning, shot by Israeli forces in al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis, according to medical sources cited by the Palestinian outlet Shehab News. She is the second young girl killed by indiscriminate Israeli fire in the area's displacement tents this week, after 7-year-old Jouri al-Soufi who was killed yesterday. Ahmed Yassin Bseiso, a man, also died Tuesday of wounds from an Israeli strike on Thawra Street in central Gaza City several days ago, the report said. Israeli forces also opened heavy fire on tents of displaced families in western Rafah and shelled the Nuseirat and Bureij refugee camps in central Gaza, Felesteen reported. Doctors who speak against the slaughter in Gaza deserve applause, not persecution. The GMC must answer for its treatment of them. We see you Nad you are a champion of humanity. #Gaza #GMC
