Revisionist history and to be overlooked, but the Giants decision to kick in OT was correct.
If they receive and have the same TD drive, HOU gets another chance at 4th & 10 instead of punting.
Cam Skattebo traveled a total of 306 yards on his 124 rushing yards, per @NextGenStats.
His rushing efficiency of 2.47 (total distance traveled / rushing yards gained) is the 3rd best among RBs with 10+ carries in a game this season.
Big north-south runs
29 year old Singletary still has that “definitive cut” ability
Devon Singletary ranked 13th in missed tackles forced per rush attempt among 50 RBs with 100+ rush attempts, per @FTNData
Singletary had the 2nd most missed tackles caused by a ‘definitive cut’ and the 6th most caused by a ‘power move’
The Giants +0.30 EPA/rush was their 2nd highest EPA/rush in a game since 2020.
Highest was Brian Daboll’s 1st game vs the Titans in 2022 (+0.31 EPA/rush)
The New York Giants produced a 97th percentile rushing performance against the Houston Texans in Week 7
It was the best game by EPA/designed rush against the Texans since DeMeco Ryans took over as head coach, per @SumerSports
Giants Snap Counts vs Texans
Replying to @Doug_Analytics

+0.35 EPA/run

Skattebo and Singletary’s TD rushes were both out of Pistol
