Thank you to the many business owners I heard from in Largs.
Despite the enormous challenges faced in recent days you were incredibly generous with your time.
And to Fairlie residents who showed me the damage on their doorstep. A stark reminder of the power of this storm.

Aberdeen will always be more important than any politician!
I've asked the Westminster speaker to urgent withdraw and apologise for his comments.

😬 Laughable, but the type of gaffe we've come to expect from the BBC.
I don't think we'd see London slapped wrongly on the map next to Cornwall ...

UK justice sec trying his hardest to row back on Burnham’s vague pro-EU comments this week.
Fine for UK to change their mind but never for Scotland.
Only way back into EU is with independence.

Lisa Nandy says “the question of Europe was never settled forever” - very eloquent argument.
So it’s ok for the UK to change its mind on Brexit after 10 years - but Scotland can absolutely never ever change its mind 12 years after the indyref? 🤔

This is no joke.
The same department hammering Scotland's energy industry have splurged half a million quid on goodies for Whitehall staff.
Are the revenues from the supertax on our energy really being spent on gift vouchers?
We need answers & taxpayers need a refund.

Cole-Hamilton, of fuck you Maree fame, is of course a shining example of how men should treat women and girls - NOT!
This is the second time in a row I've asked the First Minister about protecting women and girls from male violence. This summer, three Scottish women died at the hands of men.
It is a failure of Parliament if we don't reverse this trend and protect women and girls.

There is no doubting the long-term, transformational potential of offshore wind for Scotland’s economy.
But those who seem to think we can seamlessly transition to it today are simply unaware of the major obstacles to be overcome if we are to maximise this once in a generation industrial opportunity - one that supports high value jobs and unlocks billions of pounds of investment.
If not favourably resolved the Strategic Spatial Energy Plan and Transmission Charging regime threaten that future and, following the blocking of Ming Yang, we must secure heavy manufacturing capabilities pronto or else we simply risk offshoring significant innovation, economic and jobs benefit to other countries.
