Bucha. It was a genocide, recognized by everyone. They buried hundreds of people. They tortured people. We found the grave. There were, I believe, around 500 people. When we liberated those towns near Kyiv, there emerged this, you know, this kind of hatred for the Russians, right at that moment. Not even at the moment when they started the full-scale war. Back then nobody understood what it really was yet. People understood what this war was and what Putin did personally when we found those mass graves of tortured adults, children. I mean they didn't just kill them, they tortured and killed them.
When we liberated Bucha, I said, bring every journalist here. Don't touch anything, just bring the journalists. The whole world simply has to see this. Imagine finding a mass grave in the U.S. or in Britain, God forbid, with 500 tortured people, adults, kids, dogs, animals shot dead. I mean, they held hunting sprees there from military vehicles. People were running, they were shooting, just hunting, playing games. They literally just played with people, like slavery. So how, after this, can you listen to Putin? And how, after this, can you forgive?

Editing is changing. Story isn't.
Doc editor Chris Cardoza @DozaVisuals on his edit bay today: Claude Code for on-brand motion graphics, Doza Assist to find the story in interviews, MCP to connect them, and Final Cut Pro for the part no one automates.

Custom fantasy football league animated shows. I’ve been doing this for my own league and it’s created quite the buzz. Disney should do this but they won’t 😉
Business idea for anyone who wants to run with it. Make a platform that just runs all the processes for users.
Here’s how I do it for mine. We use Sleeper for our league and Claude can easily connect, consolidate all the weekly data (scores, trades, league history, matchups etc) then I use fable to write the script and build prompt. I hand that to Luma agents and leave it. I come back a few hours later and we have a 3 minute comedic episode. Each manager has a consistent character across each episode, we have an and b plots, rivalries, silly deep cuts and real life inside jokes pulled from our league chats.
I’ve done satirical Seinfeld and Friends episodes as well as a musical. I’m working on a lord of the rings fan fiction episode now.

in the united states, opposition to ai isn’t fear of technology. americans haven’t suddenly become a nation of luddites.
it’s a well founded belief that those with power are not going to use ai in ways that benefit the average american.
this is not a comms problem.
it’s a trust problem.

Ben Affleck says the day will come when someone can order up an episode of Succession with a plot they have in mind.
He says that could create an extra revenue stream to replace lost DVD revenue.
Affleck says AI isn’t going to end the film and TV business, but certain parts of the industry will be dramatically affected:
“I wouldn’t like to be in the visual effects business. They’re in trouble because what costs a lot of money is now gonna cost a lot less….And maybe it shouldn’t take a thousand people to render something.”
But he says the cost savings will mean more television programming, not less:
“You might be able to get two seasons of House of the Dragon in a year instead of one.”
