I'm getting the feeling Aika could have ten trillion cutscenes and a romance and more content than anyone else in the cast but people would still say it's not "real" because there's no arcana tied to it
The Fox was absolutely vital to keep around apparently.

Aika Nakamura was originally planned as a Social Link for Persona 4 Revival
When the development team decided to give Inaba and its history the spotlight, they thought she'd be the perfect central character for it, turning her story into the new Location Episode feature.
((I'm honestly glad Aika isn't romanceable because I can make her kiss girls now without people claiming she's straight cuz they got no evidence, lmfaoooo.
I'm just happy to be here. π
We want to correct one key detail from the English language version of the Persona Broadcast that listed Aika Nakamura as a new Social Link. Aika is indeed a Location Episode Character and not a Social Link.
We appreciate those that noted the difference between the English and the Japanese language broadcasts and we apologize for the confusion.
