📽️'Hurjasa'/'We Will Fly' is a new short film in Romanes, by @bowers_jake.
🎻Based on an epic poem, the film covers the history and roots of Roma people as well as contemporary Roma role models from across Europe.

If articles as provocative as the one in this screenshot were written about any other ethnic group there would rightly be uproar. The rights of Travellers, Roma, and those with nomadic practises must be protected. Europeans love to ‘condemn’ racism until it targets Travellers.

This image sums it up well. Also @Drive2Survive3 are a campaign group doing great work criticising over-policing of their communities which is an issue that affects other ethnic and cultural groups, as well as LGBTQ people and workers everywhere.
