MICHAEL

The people who wrote and compiled the Bible, particularly the Old Testament, presented an image of God that raises serious questions for critical thinkers. WHY WOULD I WORSHIP A GOD LIKE THIS? Some narratives portray God in ways that have contributed to people questioning His existence. The Bible has a history. It was written and compiled by humans across different generations. Nevertheless, I believe in a Supreme Being, but not necessarily the God portrayed through religious fear. I see God as my Father. A loving, merciful and compassionate Being who understands human imperfections. I refuse to believe that every mistake condemns me to eternal punishment and i also believe Death is where we draw the line. How does it make sense that i pay the ultimate and still find myself in hell? HOW? Religion cannot make me live in perpetual guilt. I BELIEVE IN GOD, NOT FEAR BASED RELIGION.
