What is the American Dream?
A home may symbolize it. But the American Dream is something far greater.
The American Dream is redemption. Pure and simple.
It is the promise that where you begin does not have to determine where you end. That your past does not have to define your future. That you can build a life beyond the circumstances you were born into.
That promise demands something of you: the courage to begin, the willingness to sacrifice, and the determination to keep going when success feels out of reach.
There are no guarantees. You can work hard and fall short. You can build your dream and watch it crumble. You can do everything right and still face hardship.
But failure does not have to be your final chapter.
America’s promise is the opportunity to rise again—to rebuild, to change course, and to give your dream another chance.
The American Dream is bigger than what you own. It is the freedom to become more than you were—and the chance to begin again when you thought your story was over.

Saying "Netanyahu runs America, and Trump is being blackmailed by the Epstein Class to fight endless wars for Israel, and voting does nothing" isn't a warning about anything real. It's deranged lying slop, and it's making people legitimately insane.
If Massie got his way, the 2017 Trump tax cuts would have expired.
There would be taxes on Tips, Overtime and Social Security.
Which means on top of Cost of Living being high, taxes would have gone up.
GOP would have lost even more.
All that's missing: Any business that is owned/hired/or donated to Republicans, you will be bankrupt, fined, and firebombed/vandalized by our rent a mob.
Jamie Raskin promises Democrats will be going after corporations and law firms that "collaborated," "capitulated" and "surrendered" to Trump.
Translation: We will try to destroy any company or firm that dared to work with the Trump administration. Examples must be made for defying the will of the Democrat party.
It was all about healthcare and affordability, you guys.
Exactly right. You are also seeing this in the Farm states like Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa and others.
They were already being pinched due to Biden's regulations and recovering from harsh climate seasons.
Trump comes in and immediately he institutes tariffs that quite frankly hurts the agricultural industry the hardest. Farmers felt the pain from the tariffs. But they held on.
Then immigration crackdowns. Whether we like it or not, Agriculture relied on cheap foreign labor that basically dwindled out of fear of deportation. Hell, the immigration crackdown didn't probably lead to deportation of these workers meaning increasing labor costs for Farmers.
Last but not least...diesel prices explode. They couldn't take it anymore.
They turn to Trump and what they see:
State Dinners at the White House, more tariffs, no urgency to end the war, fixated on 1 voter integrity bill, you're hearing investments are happening here and there but nothing for you and your family.
Then on top of that, Trump's pick of Fed Chair, RAISES INTEREST Rates.
Then you look at your GOP Rep/Senate and they are on another vacation. And your local leadership isn't doing anything else... and the new person running is talking about culture stuff that doesn't affect you.
It's no surprise the GOP lost.
People went into 2024 extremely frustrated with the economic direction of our country and they gave Donald Trump the White House because they trusted him to fix the problem.
But by November 2026, their perspective was that he had not fixed the problem and had in fact, made the problem worse.
The Iran war is not the fundamental issue. It’s the economic pain that people are feeling.
The Iran war just became a symbol of Donald Trump doing things that were not focused on fixing the problem.
Trump has already said, and I agree that in six months once many of these things play out a little further like gas prices dropping and these new factories opening and the economy continuing to expand, people will look back at what they chose to do this week with regret and remorse.
But given this moment, in time that they chose how they chose is not surprising.
So much truth here...
Every GOP strategist, consultant, and candidate should be forced to participate in a role-playing exercise this morning.
Your name is Bob. You’re a 49-year-old blue-collar worker in Ohio. You’ve always struggled to make ends meet. The good jobs were all shipped to China and the few remaining pay a pittance wage, undercut by endless illegal labor.
You’re a 3x Trump voter because you believed he would finally make America great again.
You put your son through Ohio State. He graduated cum laude in computer science. You couldn’t have been prouder. After months searching, he landed an entry-level job at Microsoft. Beneath his qualifications, but a good start for a smart kid.
Then he got laid off. That same month, Microsoft applied for 150,000 more H-1B visas because it can’t find qualified Americans.
Your son has spent six months back in his childhood bedroom, sending hundreds of applications without landing an interview.
On TV, Trump boasts about the greatest economy in history and how many women and minorities are finding jobs.
You decide a father-son steak night might cheer him up.
Gas is $4.50 a gallon. Filling your truck costs over $100. At Kroger, ribeyes are $30/lb. You settle for hamburger, even though 70/30 ground beef still costs $10+.
At checkout, a fat black woman is screaming at the cashier because her EBT will only cover most of the filet mignon and lobster in her cart.
You think to yourself how the Iran war has made everything expensive, but at least we’re stopping their nuclear bomb. You weren’t even sure where Iran was before you googled it after we first bombed them in March.
After dinner, you take your son to the county fair. Half the people aren’t speaking English. Virtually none of the crowd looks like you. You’re forced to leave early after a “teen takeover” turns violent. A foreign born judge pledges none of them will go to jail.
Back home, you turn on the TV. Vivek Ramaswamy is lecturing the crowd about American mediocrity and why Ohio needs more foreign talent.
Your son grows upset. You change the channel.
Now a Republican surrogate, the daughter of a governor or wife of an elderly billionaire, explains that young White men are the REAL welfare queens. They’d rather play videogames in their parents’ basements than work.
Your son says nothing. He just goes back to his childhood bedroom. You turn off the TV.
Then your neighbor starts blasting reggaeton and cracking open Modelos. He brought his cousin’s family from Mexico to help with all the minority-business contracts his construction firm keeps winning. Tonight they’re celebrating his nephew’s birth, the family’s first birthright American citizen.
You sit alone in your living room.
You worked hard, paid taxes, obeyed the law, and raised your son to do everything right. You voted Republican again and again because you believed somebody in Washington would finally fight for you.
Instead, your wages are stagnant. Groceries are unaffordable. Your community is unrecognizable. Your country is fighting another foreign war.
And upstairs, the son you sacrificed everything for is lying awake in the bedroom he slept in at twelve, wondering what the heck he’s even supposed to do with his life now.
Every time you turn on the TV, the Republicans you elected are either congratulating themselves or explaining why you and your son are the problem.
For ten years, they told you America’s future depended on your vote. Now you aren’t even sure America has a future worth defending.
The Republican Party needs to answer one simple question this morning:
You’ve spent a decade demanding Bob’s loyalty. You’ve given him stagnant wages, unaffordable groceries, another foreign war, and a son who did everything right but can’t find work.
And when they complain, you call them lazy, entitled, and racist.
What possible reason have you given Bob and his son to vote Republican? Do you honestly think you deserve their vote?
When it's this widespread it's not voter fraud.
ALL 21 STATES. ALL 1,799 COUNTIES. EVERY SINGLE ONE SHIFTED BLUE.
You can blame the Iran war. You can blame the economy. But you expect me to believe Republicans were THAT angry that every single state and county shifted blue?
And before anyone says it, this isn’t about being unable to accept a loss. I can accept losing. What I can’t do is ignore something that just doesn’t pass the smell test.
Sorry, but I have questions. 2020 makes me look at things way differently.
Once again Nolte gets it right.
"Trump was elected to bring down energy prices and the cost of living. The long, drawn-out war with Iran broke that promise, and last night the country voiced its displeasure. Had he done as much damage to the regime as possible, secured the Strait, declared victory, and gotten out in July, things might look very different today."

No need to announce until the Spring/Summer of next year.
He should hit the podcast circuit though, focused on the top ones aimed at young men.
🚨 TAPPER: Are you considering running for president in 2028?
GOV. RON DESANTIS: "I'll be a free man come Jan. 5th."
"I haven't planned anything...but last night should be a wakeup call for our party. We got blasted into oblivion. Florida is the last one standing."
"Somebody that wants to run — why are you running? You have something you want to accomplish. I'm more about doing it to accomplish things, not to be somebody."
DeSantis has by my count made at least FOUR public media appearances today alone, the day after we got wiped out in the midterms
Part of that is because Florida uniquely held the line last night ☀️
We want to accomplish 2 things over the next 2 years: deliver domestic common sense victories and CLEARLY prove to voters Democrats are NOT going to be everything they thought!
Mass Deportation is popular on paper, but when it comes to deporting abuela who's been here for fifteen years.. then no one wants it.
I don’t agree…YET.
It’s easy to look at the big blue bruise on the map and say that but when you see it with MS and KS, Florida close, AL Gov close, it aligns with the 2026 landscape.
The part of his post that is most troublesome is that the state is 90% urban and suburban. A lasting shift there like in ATL quickly creates a major issue. Collin and Denton can be offset by exurban growth but the key to the 2024 blowout was taking the Latino vote.
I think their leftward shift this year was out of the same set of issues that ran whites left too, and probably not immigration enforcement. They voted specifically for that.

JD VANCE was the leaker we call him JUDAS
Notice how he took that pivot.
Never elect a JUDAS.
America First is not VANCE its DESANTIS.
DeSantis needs to keep his Italian passion front and center. He needs to be on every podcast speaking nothing but truth.
🚨 HOLY SMOKES. Gov. Ron DeSantis just BLEW UP and went on an America first RAMPAGE on national TV
"I saw NO INDICATION that Republican senators were interested in doing conservative change! WHY haven't we done immigration, SHUT OFF H1B visas?! WHY haven't we CODIFIED Trump's immigration executive orders?! Why haven't we STRIPPED jurisdiction from the federal courts over deportation cases?! There's SO MANY THINGS we COULD HAVE DONE."
"THEY DIDN'T EVEN ATTEMPT IT."
"They say, 'oh, if only we needed 50 votes we would've done it!' YOU DON'T HAVE 50 VOTES. You NEVER SHOWED you'd do conservative things, even with 50 votes! [RE: filibuster]...I NEVER saw an indication that they'd do it."
"This midterm was a rebuke of the president and Congress...BUT, a LOT of our voters stayed home because they were FRUSTRATED with the LACK of productivity from Republicans in the House and Senate."
A fire was just lit under this man.
Honestly have not seen him get that fired up in a LONG time
We definitely deserved better from our Senate. Now, we need to repair and win in 2028, or Democrats are destroying America!

Charlie’s vision for Turning Point Action was always bigger than one election. He wanted a permanent, year-round operation with the people, relationships, and resources to compete in every cycle. He knew there would be victories and setbacks because he had experienced both and that’s why he built for both.
Last night, we saw races Republicans once won handily by double digits come down to the thinnest of margins, and in some cases, flip entirely. Democratic socialist candidates made the cost of gas, groceries, and housing the center of their campaigns. And voters responded at the ballot box. A rising stock market doesn’t mean much when nearly half of Americans don’t have a 401K and just want to put gas in their trucks, put food on the table, and provide a good life for their families.
But every time socialism has tried it has failed, because socialism concentrates economic power in the hands of the government instead of trusting individuals to build prosperity for themselves and their families. That’s fundamentally at odds with the free enterprise, individual liberty, and opportunity at the heart of the American experiment. We can disagree with the solutions voters were offered while still recognizing why they were looking elsewhere for answers. Exit polls clearly showed that the American people are concerned about the state of the economy and the war in Iran. This isn’t a surprise to us because we’ve heard the same concerns from our students around the country for months and we’ve been concerned about it too.
The biggest mistake conservatives can make right now would be to allow this moment to become another exercise in finger-pointing, in-fighting, or trying to secure their own political preservation. That does not solve the problems the American people are demanding be solved.
Turning Point was born out of a moment just like this following the Obama era, which was itself a reaction to the political frustration of the early 2000’s. Our history reminds us that moments of disappointment can actually be moments of renewal and infinite opportunity.
Americans are not looking for labels and don’t subscribe to unquestioned party loyalty anymore either. They will support the candidates who can both speak to their concerns and deliver on what THEY need and dream about for their families. And those needs are the same as they have always been: an affordable home, safe communities, and the hope that the next generation will inherit a country with more opportunity than the last generation did. That is what the American dream has promised to all of us.
I miss Charlie so much every single day, but especially on a day like today. He always said that when things are going well, we need to stay humble. And when things aren’t going the way we want, we need to stay positive, keep our faith, and get back to work.
That’s exactly what we’re doing over at Turning Point today. We are going to listen, study the results, and spend the next two years making the case for how conservative, free market solutions, and a renewed focus on our country’s founding principles can address the problems the American people face. And we’re going to keep building the permanent infrastructure Charlie envisioned, strengthening our relationships in communities across the country, and preparing for 2028 and beyond.
If you woke up feeling discouraged today, there’s more important work to do than ever. Our principles haven’t changed and neither has our mission.
To every staff member, student, volunteer, and ballot chaser who gave their time and energy to this mission this cycle, thank you. I know Charlie would be unbelievably proud of each and every one of you, and I am, too.
Onward. 🇺🇸
I know you're angry. I am too.
Here is who failed us:
GOP Senate - You guys fought Trump more than the Dems. Didn't codified DOGE and basically said "Don't wanna work hard" So guess what you lost power. (Which is probably what you wanted.)
GOP Influencers/Pundits. - You divided yourselves based off your doners (Laura Loomer/Tucker Carson Ukraine/Qatar) You were so focused more on your brand/name and YOUR ISSUES (Epstein Files) that you failed to properly educate the voter on what Trump was truly doing and how radicalized the Dems are becoming. Half even went out of your way to turn the base AGAINST Trump.
Immigration Hawks - You were never happy. Trump shut the border, deportations were happening, but you wanted more and more that. And stopping Illegal Immigration wasn't enough you had to bitch about the current immigration visa system.
You sent the Hispanic and Indian voters straight into the arms of the Democrats.
Trump's pollsters. I hope Trump fires them, cause they were giving him fake numbers thinking his approval rating was near 50% when it wasn't. I knew something was off when Trump mentioned Dick Morris.
I also blame Trump himself. His communication sucks. He lost that touch. Americans can't afford groceries and you're bragging about a damn ballroom that most Americans will never set foot in. Then you added insult to injury promising $5,000 to everyone.
Frankly I don't want the GOP to rebuild. Let just start a new party from it's corps.
We're now in the Post-Trump era.
