My dream for the guitar darkner is that they parallel dess and then get killed (by the knight?) untill they are "rebuilt" by someone to be stronger and able to fend for themselves, but this takes away a lot of their will and or personality

Including what people have said before, in my opinion one of the smoking guns is that the opening hymn in chapter 4 DIRECTLY quotes entry 17 It's a detail that stands out to anyone who knows entry 17 and makes a connection between the prophecy and gaster right away

the reason why woody theory worked and these dont is that woody was ACTUALLY NEEDED for the theory itself. Half the evidence was actually RELATED TO WOODY FROM TOY STORY. Makes it way more memorable than just throwin a random cartoon character at a normal theory
