Sawyer crews with Southwest Conservation Corps have started fire mitigation work on a 9-acre city parcel at Ball Lane. The work is possible thanks to a recent grant from @CSFS_Outreach to reduce wildfire risk on city-owned lands bordering residential areas.

A pedestrian bridge in south Durango has been closed while city engineers and designers inspect its structural integrity. The bridge is located on the Animas River Trail behind La Plata County Humane Society and Walmart. More details at ➡ durangogov.org/civicalerts.a…
