Registered apprenticeships expand career pathways for our future workers and help employers fill key skilled workforce needs. This large increase in the HW&M budget will allow these vital programs to expand and diversify in MA. #mapoli

Over the past month, I have talked to families and educators from across the South Shore about what to do next regarding public education.
The response was very clear: vaccinate our teachers and get our children back in classrooms.

Today we thank our teachers & other “essential workers”. We have always known that Police, EMS & Firefighters are essential. Now we know teachers, caregivers, food service & hospital workers, transit & sanitation ees are too. My parents gave 60 years to Boston Public Schools.🙌🏾❤️

I'm hearing from many parents of young children of the heroic work teachers and administrators are doing to make the start of this surreal school year feel special. I'm not surprised. Educators are heroes. And are often left to fix the messes of the rest of society.
