Take a look at the thick smoke and flames from the Caldor Fire in El Dorado County. A photojournalist with CBS Sacramento captured the scene as he was escorted out of the fire today. The El Dorado County Sheriff issued evacuation orders across the area.

AFS Engine 01 was committed to the #RiverFire for two days, and monitored 7 homes for our clients. All 7 of our structures between Colfax and Grass Valley survived undamaged. During patrols, our team was also able to extinguish a few hot spots along Hwy 174 near Chicago Park.
