Last week we travelled to #Spiekeroog to check on our experimental islands and salt marsh plots! With sunny weather conditions we were surprised by 2 tiny oystercatcher chicks who had made themselves comfortable on one of our islands. The question remains who surprised whom more!

Our field container has finally arrived on Spiekeroog! Soon we'll have online access to sensor systems monitoring the abiotic conditions and no storm will catch us by surprise.

Second #DynaCom retreat is over and we had such a good time sharing our progresse and future plans that we forgot to take a group picture. So here goes a group photo from our first meeting in February.
