We could not agree more with @lisanandy! The kids of #Bunhill turning at the TV last night also want and need every opportunity to fulfil their sports dreams. But we have a problem...🧵

🏆Victory for community sport!
We stood with @EC1Voices to oppose the Finsbury Leisure Centre redevelopment – and we’re thrilled to see the plans stopped. Inner-city pitches are vital. We must protect them. ow.ly/QAcu50W2LVO

Hey, @Arsenal Football Club! You're wearing white today, in your match against ManU – in support of your #NoMoreRed campaign" against knife crime and youth violence...FANTASTIC!!! (&this must mean you share @EC1VOICES ' commitment to keeping the 4 Finsbury LC pitches where they are, so Islington (and City of London) kids will have a safe and healthy alternative to knife crime/violence!!!) tinyurl.com/3vnrk6v4 @CPRELondon @CPRE @RestIsFootball

Totally supportive of @EC1VOICES @CPRELondon and Les Ferdinand campaign to save the Finsbury Leisure Centre football pitches. The kids need their green space and football, for their well-being, fitness and mental health. Any decision against this just isn't common sense.
