Erectile dysfunction remains common, with variable response to standard treatment.
This review of PRP, Li-SWT, and SCT shows Li-SWT improves short-term patient-reported outcomes, while PRP shows benefit at 6 months. Evidence remains limited.

Surgical education isn’t just evolving—it’s moving faster than ever.
In this engaging conversation with Dr. Chris DuCoin (@chrisducoin) at SAGES 2026 (@SAGES_Updates), we explore how rapidly expanding medical knowledge is reshaping the way surgeons learn, teach, and stay current. What once took years to evolve is now changing in a matter of weeks—and traditional systems are struggling to keep up.
This is where modern platforms step in—creating faster, more accessible, and standardized learning experiences that reach beyond institutions and across borders. From residents in top programs to surgeons in underserved regions, the ability to access the same high-quality education is becoming a reality.
Because the future of surgery isn’t just about innovation in the OR—it’s about how quickly we can share knowledge across the world.

Surgeon Self-Care: Managing the Overwhelm .
Our brains are our most vital tools, yet as surgeons, we often forget to nurture our own. We are trained to suppress our emotions to prioritize patient care, frequently sacrificing our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being in the process.
The truth? We often endure schedules and stress levels we would never allow our loved ones to face. But remember: Burnout prevention is far better than the cure.
To keep serving at your best without losing yourself to the "busyness" of the OR, you must be intentional about life outside of surgery.
How to reclaim your balance:
1️⃣ Be Intentional: List your non-negotiable life priorities. Tackle them one by one just as you would a surgical plan.
2️⃣ Leave Room for Rest: When scheduling, build in a "margin for error." Rest isn’t a luxury; it’s a requirement for precision.
3️⃣ Master Delegation: Ask: "What am I doing that someone else can do?" Train your team well so you can delegate with confidence and focus where you are most needed.
4️⃣ Systematize Your Life: Without a clear system for how things should run, your career will swallow your personal life. Build a structure that protects your time.
5️⃣ Seek Support: Don’t wait for a crisis. Ask for help early—whether professional or personal—so you can enjoy the career you love without sacrificing your soul.
Your health matters just as much as the lives you save.
