Just giving this a RT. Discourse seems awfully quiet when things are going well, yet no-one wants to front up and say they may have got it wrong. Surely no-one believes MT should go at this moment in time!?
I’d like to see those who have criticised MT or any player offer praise and credit to whoever it is they previously criticised.
If you jump down someone’s throat when the feeling is negative, you should also offer positivity and credit when it’s going well. Up the City 🔴⚪️
Voting has closed. 93 votes in total with 68.8% wanting MT out, however, crucially, not one replacement name mentioned.
This is my issue, the grass may, or may not be greener, but with MT in charge, we genuinely will not be going down. We do not want history to repeat...

Dear #ECFC fans,
I am genuinely intrigued as to which side you are on currently.
If #TaylorIn, why?
If #TaylorOut, who would you look to replace him with?

The appointment of McNab resulted in him being sacked 4 months later with the club bottom. Gary Peters came in, only losing 3 of the last 13, but the season ended in relegation.

The club will not go down. They have played 5 of the top 6 in the first 8 games, context DOES matter. Exeter City are not one of the two worst teams in the League, but also, not one of the strongest seven to make the play-offs.

This season is about rebuilding after the dreadful financial situation the club found itself in last season. And is there a better candidate to do so than someone who previously built a team that was promoted from League Two, and understands the club?

I feel I need to clarify my thoughts.
MT is NOT doing a good enough job right now, the club are not winning matches or scoring goals, however defensively, we are very good and that has to be acknowledged.

Rose, Gordon, Cole (attitude) and whoever is out wide are the reasons we won’t finish in the play-offs or go up. Excluding Oluwabori, when fit.
Are we allowed to have an honest conversation about how poor the recruitment has been, and how dreadful we look going forward, without a certain podcast getting all defensive because they’re now mates of the club?
Woeful attacking performance today.
💬 "It was a very honest performance but we are still lacking in certain areas."

Well that one slipped by me, a sixth loan in the building!
Replying to @ChudleyJamie
Free agency market is open if an opportunity presents itself. I wouldn’t expect any loans when the loan window re-opens though, maximum 5 permitted per matchday squad, and we have 5 in the door now.
InsideSJP doesn’t miss ✅ ✅
Good end to deadline day Grecians, seasons fully begins on Saturday vs Walsall.
Taking points off of high flying Barnet tonight with a paper-thin squad, same again Saturday from MT and the boys 👌🏼
#ECFC
Just to confirm, as there is speculation out there; the two trialists from Saturday were left-back/left wing-back Ali Koiki (free agent) & right-back/right wing-back Finn Tonks (Bournemouth)
Minimal money from the Yfeko deal is available due to fee being paid in installments.
Josh Gordon, formerly of Walsall and Barrow.
Physical ✅ high work rate ✅ mainly a striker but can operate either side or deeper if required ✅ hopefully not on penalties as missed one against us in the 2024/25 season ❌
Who’s this then? All I know is he’s called Josh. 99% sure it ISNT Josh Martin, ex Cheltenham #ecfc
