GOOD DAY, MR PRESIDENT: NIGERIANS DESERVE ACCOUNTABILITY
Good day, Mr President.
I congratulate you on spending a night in one of Nigeria’s states outside Lagos and Abuja. I hope you enjoyed the warmth, hospitality, and delicious cuisine of Akwa Ibom, which I am sure is even better than those of the destinations where you have spent over 260 days outside Nigeria since coming into office.
I sincerely hope this visit will inspire you to travel to the remaining 33 states of the federation, spend time with the people and, more importantly, explain what your administration has done with the ₦15.8 trillion saved from the removal of fuel subsidy, the over $100 billion you have borrowed, the increased revenues accruing to the government from taxing Nigerians, and the additional government revenues which your administration celebrated last year as having surpassed its target.
Nigerians deserve to know how many that were pulled out of poverty within this period, how many out-of-school children were returned to school, and how many functional primary healthcare centres you have built. They also deserve to know how much electricity supply has improved, especially given your promise that if you do not fix power, Nigerians should not vote for you. They deserve an explanation of how you have secured the country, which still ranks among the most terrorised countries in the world.
Mr President, Nigerians deserve answers. They deserve to know what has been done with the resources entrusted to your government.
The New Nigeria we want to build will be based on accountability, transparency, and the physical, measurable impact of our public resources on the lives of citizens.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Man Utd beat Roma in the Champions league 6:2 over a decade ago. Carrick scored a brace in that game. Today, he is the manager of a Man Utd side taking on Roma at home.
And he will pay for that 6:2 loss
Crazy clip of Tonight’s conversation I just saw:
A 37 years old woman who has 14 children by 12 different men is asking whether she should stop searching for love.
I wonder if even the legendary Agba @jon_d_doe can help this one
Carrick wanted Elliot Anderson, Mateus Fernandes, Tonali, Bruno Guimares
The team needed a left back and a striker
Instead, we got Chelsea bench player, average Aston Villa player and out of form Baleba.
No striker, No left back.
You want to compete? Nah! We should relegate
My siblings and I are at that stage where we are the ones taking care of our aged parents, caring for them like they are little kids.
Something struck me recently. As a kid, I remember watching my parents do the same to my grannys. Now, our kids are watching us do it. It is deep
YOU OWE YOUR PARENTS SO MUCH!
There is a reason why I have always disagreed with people who say children don’t owe their parents anything.
I’m currently at my son’s football training here in the UK, and it’s raining. And if you understand the UK weather, you’ll know this isn’t just ordinary rain. It’s freezing cold!
Yet, here we are, parents like myself standing on the sidelines in the cold and rain, watching our children train.
Look at these parents. They’re smiling, laughing, and cheering their children on, despite the uncomfortable weather.
And this is just one of the countless sacrifices parents make for their children. Tomorrow, these same parents will continue sacrificing their time, money, comfort, and personal desires to give their children the best opportunities in life.
They will support them, encourage them, and stand by them until they become successful.
And then one day, someone will come along and tell these children that they owe their parents absolutely nothing.
Sincerely, I think that’s a very selfish and terrible way to think.
You may never be able to repay your parents for everything they’ve done for you, but gratitude, appreciation, love, and care should never be too much to give back.
And I’m speaking about parents who genuinely showed up, sacrificed, and did their best for their children.
Disgusting fellow, playing politics with the lives of young people that were cut short, and you are insulting their memories with this terrible political gimmick. We can see through you sir, we are not fools, and you would like to imagine. We see you for who you are
SIX YEARS AFTER LEKKI, THE APC STILL OWES NIGERIANS ANSWERS AND YOUNG PEOPLE A FUTURE.
Six years after the Lekki shooting, Nigeria is still waiting for a clear answer to one devastating question: Who gave the order? Let us also not forget that in October 2020, Bola Tinubu, rather than demonstrating the empathy and compassion the tragedy demanded, suggested that those who suffered casualties during the shooting had questions to answer. He asked: “How were they there? How long were they there? What kind of characters are they?” At a moment when Nigerians were demanding accountability for the violence against peaceful protesters, his response appeared more concerned with questioning the victims than demanding answers from those responsible.
The anger trending across the country today is not a social media performance. It is grief that has been left to harden into distrust. It is the pain of families still demanding answers, and of young people who watched their calls for dignity meet violence and then watched the country move on without the truth they deserve.
The APC has governed Nigeria through these six years. It cannot keep asking Nigerians to remember the dead while refusing to confront the unanswered questions. A government that cannot give citizens confidence that their lives matter has failed one of its most basic duties.
And the hardship young people face today deepens that betrayal. Petrol at ₦1,405 a litre means more than an expensive journey. It means less money for food, school, rent and work. It means a young person can do everything asked of them and still find the door to a decent life shut in their face.
The APC promised renewal. For too many Nigerians, the experience has been rising costs, shrinking opportunity and a future pushed further out of reach. No speech about growth can excuse empty pockets. No anniversary tribute can replace justice. No campaign slogan can erase six years of unanswered questions.
Just this morning, one of my aides told me about a young woman who was forced to resign from her job this month because her salary could no longer cover the cost of getting to work. Her words were as heartbreaking as they were revealing: “The pay no longer covers transport. Everything in Nigeria just dey increase in price. Feels like I'm working for Bolt guys.” Imagine that: a Nigerian who has secured employment, yet can no longer afford to remain employed. This is the cruel reality of an economy in which even those fortunate enough to have jobs are being priced out of earning a living. The policies of this government are stifling not only the unemployed but also hardworking Nigerians whose salaries have become increasingly worthless in the face of rising costs. This is precisely the hardship my Economic Recovery Plan is designed to address, with one overriding objective: to Make Nigeria Affordable Again. My policy response is built around relief people can feel: support tied to fuel refined in Nigeria, with the savings passed on to consumers; more local production to create jobs; protection for minimum wage earners and student support; and funding these measures by cutting waste instead of imposing new taxes.
Young Nigerians deserve the truth about Lekki. They deserve a government that protects life, and an economy that gives work a chance to lead somewhere. Six years on, the APC has had ample time to answer for its record. Nigerians are entitled to ask why the answers and the opportunities are still missing. #LekkiMassacre -AA
In fairness to him, Gburus did, and Mbah continued with it
You can’t make this up, can you?

News just filtered in - Gov. Ndubuisi Mba summons the principal of college of immaculate conception CIC after his excellency Peter Obi visited the school. Governor Mba is threatening to close the school if he's not satisfied with answers why they should allow PO visit the school
Somebody that is not a serious human being? I don’t think anybody is ready to go for that seat. Mbah will still keep it. He is afraid, yes, but his opponents are not hungry. Lucky him
Enugu people, I recommend @SirChinyeaka for Governor
He’s running under the NDC.
City just got railroaded in 45mins! Same City team that beat Man Utd, and will beat us again and again.
Yet, PSG just destroyed them in one half.
And all of us are competing in the UCL? And you want to punish Lisandro for speaking out? You are mad!
Making a tweet like this after a confirmed incident of attack of opposition party members, where one person was reportedly shot and killed is distasteful!
Learn to read the room
Whenever my boss, now of blessed memory, does this, he ALWAYS makes sure to give the lawyer some cash!
Just for mentioning his name and appearing with him, he pays you money.
I wonder if this learned Silk observed this practice? Only people of old will know it.
What L. Martinez said is the absolute truth! The board needed to have signed more elite players to be able to compete. But we signed players with potentials, who could not, at the moment, compete at the highest level.
I hope he knows he will sit in the bench when we get players

Loudspeaker go and hug your girlfriend this cold Tuesday morning and leave politics. Leave politicians alone and get married. The lace I sowed for your wedding is no longer in vogue. I am prepared for Omugwo go and make babies my darling. 💅💅
It’s political season again. Some people who were deactivated by politicians, who used them pre 2023 elections, have been reactivated again ahead of 2027.
One could honestly believe you passed on after the last election.
What a miracle! Resurrection from the dead!
This is not true for majority of Ndi Enugu. Most people don’t care what party you belong to, provided you are performing well.
If Mbah has performed well, as his people will want us to believe, there will not be a sense of fear of the opposition that we are seeing. Who’s afraid?
