This marks the highest number of alerts over 24 hours for Saudi Arabia during the past 3 months.
At least 9 early warning alerts were issued by Saudi Civil Defense in the past 24 hours (primarily on 27 Oct 2026), covering Riyadh City, Al-Kharj Governorate (twice), Al Hariq Governorate, Eastern Province, Najran City (twice), Abha City, and Khamis Mushait Governorate. Most of these have been ballistic missiles alerts.

🇬🇧🇺🇸 Sentinel-2 satellite imagery shows RAF Fairford in the UK empty of U.S. military aircraft, including B-1 strategic bombers, as of early October. The U.S. withdrew the bombers following an alleged plot to attack the base, which played a key role in Operation Epic Fury.
The B-1s’ positions at RAF Fairford have been publicly known since day one of the deployment. Even low-res Sentinel-2 imagery is enough to track the parking pattern and match the aircraft to the same spots seen in media footage. You simply can’t hide bombers that size. And anyone paying for high-res commercial imagery can get much clearer, near-daily coverage anyway.
🇺🇸🇮🇷 No major changes in the posture of U.S. military aircraft across bases in the Middle East have been observed. This remains a key indicator to monitor when assessing the likelihood of a potential escalation against Iran.
So far, there are no clear signs that the U.S. military is preparing for a major operation against Iran, though this could change after the U.S. midterm elections.

The visit reportedly had two main objectives: easing tensions with Egypt over the maritime deal and addressing the failure of negotiations held in Ankara between the Tripoli-based Government of National Unity and the Benghazi-based Libyan National Army leadership.
Interestingly, Saddam flew to Dubai after concluding his Cairo visit.
He traveled aboard a VIP Airbus A319neo ACJ registered as P4-KH519.
