Not the most flattering of photos, but great to be back running again after nine months off with an injury. Thanks to all at @EllenboroughAC for a faultlessly organised Coledale Horseshoe Fell Race yesterday.
Wonderful news! Many congratulations, Mary - we're just sorry to lose you from @CofE_Cov and @CovCathedral

Odd how my first brush with Covid has engaged the creative brain. This is for two friends and colleagues @TownChurchRugby - follow the
Roman numerals to avoid derangement!
Lovely to be reunited with Charlotte Mayer's Thornflower @CovCathedral - a sculpture I prayed beside for many months @ChChCathedralOx

Congratulations to the Reverend Mark Birch, who has been appointed by HM The King as a Canon of Westminster and by Sir Lindsay Hoyle as Chaplain to the Speaker of the House of Commons.
He will serve as Canon Rector, taking a leading role in the Abbey’s ministry to the public square through services in St Margaret's Church and the work of the Westminster Abbey Institute. As Speaker’s Chaplain he will work closely with parliamentarians, offering pastoral care to MPs and their staff.
Mark has been a Minor Canon at the Abbey since 2015. He was awarded the MVO (Member of the Royal Victorian Order) in 2023 for his part in organising the funeral of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. He also played a central role in rehearsals and preparations for the Coronation of Their Majesties The King and Queen.

It was a delight to witness today's ordination to the diaconate @CovCathedral @CofE_Cov of our new curate @TownChurchRugby James Sampson-Foster. There would be joyous photos, except that I shattered my phone screen in the car park on the way home!
It is a great privilege to be leading the ordination retreat for deacons and priests @CofE_Cov @CovCathedral. Thanks be to God for Rolene, Beks, James, Adrian, Luke, Modupe, Charles, Matthew, April, Robin, Josh, Emma, Rebecca, Julie, Cerys, Helen S, Denise, Helen M and John.
