Fighter. Winner. Leader.
I spoke up against discrimination on the GA House floor.
I worked across the aisle to pass GA's antisemitism bill.
Voters: 58% - widest House Dem margin in HD51 history.
I kept delivering: Led Dems for IVF protection into law.

Semafor says it never took Qatari "investment." But nobody asked about that.
What people want to know, and what Semafor refuses to answer, is how much Qatari money it took, on what terms, and how it shaped their coverage of Qatar.
Time for @TheJusticeDept to step in.
HUGE: KIND founder and Shark @DanielLubetzky says Semafor's CEO once bragged to him about getting millions from Qatar to "train journalists," for work costing a tiny fraction of that.
He says it felt to him like a bribe.
Exactly what my thread laid out.

They called it apartheid. The ballot box called them liars. Arab and Muslim parties are winning 17 seats in Israel’s parliament, the Knesset. Arab turnout was above 70% in town after town. Wait, I thought Zionists were racist, so how come these “racists” are giving parliamentary seats to Arabs and Muslims, who, in turn, came out to vote? Some villages hit 90% turnout.
They democratically participated and voted in a Zionist democratic system they believe in?
Arabs now hold about 14% of Israel’s parliament. Muslim MPs hold about 4% of Britain’s. Odd kind of apartheid, where the “oppressed” vote harder than London does.
Dear fools,
You know who said it was all about Netanyahu?
She did. Many times.

⚠️ Qatar’s global propaganda machine continues to grow.
Qatar uses its propaganda empire to undermine US interests and Western society as a whole.
Qatar is not our friend.

My values, my identity and my community are far more important to me than any individual election result. Regardless, it’s widely understood that I lost in my particular district for the same reasons this ad is repugnant, blatantly false, and incites even more violence against Jews.
And sadly, you consistently add fuel to this slanderous and anti-Jewish fire.

The claim that QFI only had "Arabic language teaching aids available to download from their website," is disingenuous. See one example below of a lesson shared on QFI's resource page that downplayed the terrorism that led to the murder of 3,000 Americans on 9/11.

FACT: The annual funding Israel receives from the US amounts to less than one-tenth of 1% of the federal budget. Less than 1/10th of 1%.
FACT: That annual funding would cover only a few hours of federal health care spending. A few hours.
Yet politicians who specialize in scapegoating would have you believe that Israel is responsible for America’s affordability crisis.
Like every form of scapegoating before it, it is a dangerous lie.
You're back! After you lost #gapol HB 1379, I figured you'd sit this one out.
I called out a Qatari lobbyist for not disclosing in an opinion column because it sought to mislead readers into thinking he was a neutral party.
Your move? Suggest my "network" needs FARA registration—while admitting Bennett is "working 24/7 with the embassy."
Mr. Deputy Ambassador of Qatar, you are quite literally the foreign influence.
You're also really bad at proving your points but really good at proving mine.
Replying to @epanitch
Secretary, Bennett said at the beginning of article “I expected criticism when I agreed to consult with the Embassy of Qatar on its education initiatives, but I didn’t anticipate this torrent of falsehoods.”
We’re very proud that Secretary Bennett is among the consultants working 24/7 with the emabssy to debunk the anti-Qatar–U.S. relationship network. Hopefully, your network complies with FARA registration requirements one day.

El-Sayed now has the distinction of utilizing two of the most prominent antisemitic podcasters as surrogates -- on the far left and far right:
🧲
NEW @jewishinsider via @marcrod97: "New El-Sayed ad features Tucker Carlson, far-right podcaster’s attack on Mike Rogers"
"El-Sayed’s last-minute pitch to the MAGA base comes as Rogers has made inroads with Democratic voters"

"Qatar says it doesn't support the Muslim Brotherhood. The Muslim Brotherhood disagrees."
From my recent appearance on FDD's Morning Brief with @JSchanzer
You can't appease a movement whose objection is you.
J Street ran its largest-ever super PAC campaign against AIPAC but still gets counted as AIPAC. TrackAIPAC lists Sen. Ossoff, who has taken $0 from AIPAC, because J Street funds him.
J Street refuses to learn that it's the joke.
The movement they courted doesn't object to AIPAC's tactics. It objects to American Jews who support Israel — any Israel, any borders. #gapol
The New York Times has a new piece asking how much of the opposition to Abdul El-Sayed is anti-Muslim. Honestly, some of it is. But some of it isn't, and we shouldn't pretend otherwise.
I don't care what his mother did in Egypt in the 1970s, and it’s not his responsibility what a half-sister he wasn't raised with has posted, including her praise of the 7 October massacres.
But I do care that El Sayed did sign a letter supporting the Muslim Brotherhood in 2012. Pointing out he did that is not bigotry.
When a man drove his truck into a Michigan synagogue with 140 children inside, El-Sayed condemned it, then released a video the next day explaining that 'hurt people hurt people' because the attacker's relatives (Hezbollah members) had been killed in Lebanon. He apologised five months later, during an election campaign, but reminding people what he said at first isn't bigotry either.
He has repeatedly declined to say whether Israel has a right to exist as a Jewish state, and when he condemns terror groups like Hamas and the regime in Iran, it tends to come with a 'but.'
We can condemn anti-Muslim sentiment without ignoring antisemitism. It's not hard.
