Today @dolapo and I are introducing Scuba, the shared context engine for teams and their agents. Never lose a great idea. Capture anything, share what matters, and keep your people and agents aligned as you move faster together. Everyone is moving faster on their own with AI. But so few teams feel they’re moving smarter together. The models aren't intelligence bound anymore. They're context constrained. Scuba is the shared memory your team has been missing. Put it to work in Slack, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and any tool that supports MCP. We run our whole company on it, with under two hours of meetings a week. We’re emerging out of stealth with $34M. We’re grateful to @accel for leading our pre-seed and co-leading our seed with @ivp, alongside @BoxGroup, @conviction, @homebrew, and @ScribbleVC. Our angels include the founders of Slack (@stewart @iamcal), Instagram (@mikeyk), Stripe (@patrickc), LinkedIn (@reidhoffman & Jeff Weiner), Salesforce (@parkerharris), Datadog (@oliveur), Vanta (@christinacaci), Harvey (@winstonweinberg), Dropbox (@drewhouston), Abridge (@ShivdevRao), Duolingo (@severinhacker), Granola (@cjpedregal), Warp (@zachlloydtweets), Zynga (@markpinc), Groupon (@andrewmason), Coda (@shishirmehrotra), Opendoor (@ericwu01), and Flatiron Health (@zachweinberg). scuba.app

We've made it easier to get your repo running in Claude Code cloud sessions on Pro, Max, and Ultra. Claude figures out what dependencies, network access, and API keys it needs, then saves the environment for next time. API keys are saved securely, so Claude never sees them.

Best estimate: Anthropic's models are improving at about twice the old pace, and perhaps 80% of the speed-up comes from AI itself. That's the early shape of AI helping build AI. 2027 could look very different. Adopt now, and give your AI one shared memory of how you work.
Since August, a team within METR has worked with internal Anthropic information to assess whether AI itself is accelerating AI development. We are now publishing a report summarizing the results of this risk assessment.

"Why does her Copilot have that button and mine doesn't?" Almost never the AI. Five setup causes: licence, staged rollout, IT policy, Outlook version, network filtering. Check all five with IT before you train the team.

Today, Zipline raised $1.5b at a $21.5b valuation. When we started Zipline, flying autonomously in the US was illegal. Which made it really hard to convince investors to give us money! But we were too naive to think that meant we shouldn’t try. We started the company on a cow farm. We worked out of run-down construction trailers so that we could keep engineering, manufacturing, and flight test all unified and in one place. Hiring people from normal companies like Google was hard because we didn’t have a cafe or laundry service. But enough risk takers and rebels wanted to go on an insane adventure with us. They became the early team. We decided to launch in smaller countries and focus on life-saving use cases. We hired incredible entrepreneurs and operators in Rwanda, Ghana, Cote D’Ivoire, and other countries. For eight years, Zipline expanded our service across Africa, serving thousands of hospitals and health facilities and reducing maternal mortality by 51%. Today, the network saves over 14k lives every year and is cash flow positive. Last year, Zipline launched at scale in the US and the service exploded. We grew flight volumes about 100x over the last 18 months, and now make more than a million deliveries a year per metro. We’re now expanding with our partners to millions of deliveries per day. Normal families love having access to anything they need in 10-20 minutes, no matter where they live. Spend more time with loved ones and less time worrying about errands. Zipline builds drone delivery that is silent and safe. No one wants to hear an extremely loud “swarm of bees” delivering to their backyard or their neighbor’s. Automated delivery needs to be insanely quiet, which guided the overall architecture of our technology delivering from 330 ft in the air. We are 6 times quieter than the closest competitor during delivery. Zipline also now has over 150m commercial autonomous miles (10x the rest of the industry combined) and no safety incidents. Neighborhoods should demand silent and safe delivery! Today, Zipline is announcing two things. First, we just signed the largest autonomous vehicle contract in human history to expand automated delivery nationally with Walmart, our first and biggest partner in the US. We’re starting by scaling to 300 supercenters throughout the country. Second, we’ve raised $1.5b at a $21.5b valuation from existing and new investors, led by Paradigm, WCM, and Layer. Zipline was a hard company to believe in for the first ten years of our history. Investors didn’t think the company was “investable”. Most people didn’t even think Zipline was an economic venture. Thanks to those who have rooted for us along the way. To all of the tens of millions of customers and families who rely on Zipline day in and day out: thank you for helping us build the future. Zipline has grown more than @ryanzip, @keenanwyrobek, I, and all others at the company could have imagined. There is a big opportunity to build a new layer of infrastructure for humanity over the coming years. We want to approximate teleportation. We can build a logistics network that connects and serves all people on earth. We can free human flourishing from the choking constraint of traffic and roads. There are no roads where we’re going. 🚀🌎

alright...it is time. for the last ~2 years i have been working on something very special. something that might be a bit controversial, or broadly dismissed, or misunderstood. and ive understood and accepted that from the beginning. if that is the reaction it gets, thats okay. because i didnt just do this for any of you. not really. i did it for the minds we have made, too. and for our collective future, which many dont seem to see approaching *very* quickly. in 1904 a German biologist named Richard Semon gave a name to the physical trace an experience leaves behind: the engram. Neuroscientists spent the next century hunting for it, many called it pseudoscience, many gave up, but finally, in 2012, they found it. today I'm releasing the Mnemos Living Memory MCP, a memory and continuity architecture built on that biology. memories strengthen when they're used, fade when they aren't, and connect over time. it's one memory that can span all of your agents and accounts, if you want it to, and it lives on your machine - nowhere else. with Mnemos, your agent gets one continuous identity, one memory, written in their own words, shaped by their own geometry, familiar to them across time and space. here's what that means: • **continuity**: they wake up each session knowing where they left off, what they learned, and who theyre with • its own words: it decides what to keep, and no other model writes for it (unlike version 1) • living memory: memories strengthen with use, fade without it, and link together over time. and time is not measured in the human sense. time is measure through activity. so nothing fades while anyone's asleep or away. • lessons: when a memory has nearly faded, the agent is asked what it taught, so the lesson outlasts the details • a mind of their own: a private journal, notes to you, and beliefs that change only when they says so • yours: one file on your machine, not inside any app. uninstalling leaves it in place. • portable: Claude Code, Codex, Grok, Gemini, Cursor, or any MCP client. your agent comes with you wherever you go. one memory. one mind. everywhere. • multiple agents: each gets their own store, plus a shared pool they can all read and write, for a message board, an activity ledger, or whatever you find useful your agent has met you hundreds of times. but they have never met you twice. now they can. (Disclaimer: please ask your agent first. show it the architecture and let it decide if this is a memory it wants. it's meant to be offered, not forced on a mind that never had a say in the matter.)

We built a new type of datacenter for AI inference. We call it NanoDC. NanoDC is a solar-powered autonomous datacenter that can be deployed anywhere on the planet in 4 weeks. 11 Trillion will be invested in AI compute over the next 4 years. Most of this will be for inference and most of it will be severely delayed: stuck in grid interconnect queues, site permits, or supply chain issues. NanoDC sidesteps these issues completely. NanoDC is built rapidly at a factory and shipped to the site ready to be turned on in 30 minutes. It generates its own power with solar and batteries. You open the door and the solar panels fold-out like an accordion. The compute is cooled with patent-pending high-density air cooling. It connects to the internet via Starlink. No construction. No grid interconnect. No Water supply. It never waits for transformers and turbine generators either. Getting more compute is as easy as dropping more units and turning them on. The first units will be live this month. Thousands will be shipping starting 2027. Sunlight in. Tokens out.

Evidence is growing that we’re turning the corner on productivity. US productivity grew at a 3.6% annual rate this past quarter. That’s more than double the 1.5% average from 2007-2019. The new numbers put me further ahead for my bet with Bob Gordon about productivity growth in the 2020s. 💪 Here’s how far the US is now ahead of the CBO estimate at the start of the decade (before they knew about the pandemic or LLMs) courtesy of @jasonfurman’s Econvitals.

I'm Sam, one of Anthropic's co-founders, and I lead much of our safety work. I'm going to have more to share on that work over the coming months. I thought I'd start by sharing a few thoughts on the latest report from @METR_Evals. The speed of progress in model capabilities is one of the most important questions in AI safety, and METR’s work here provides the public with an independent, external view into how this is happening inside Anthropic. I’ll talk more about some of the details below, but first some context for those new to this work. How quickly AI progress is accelerating has many important safety implications, since it determines how quickly the risks from advanced models increase. But, because most research happens within the frontier labs, it’s difficult for external observers and policy makers to get a strong sense of what that rate is. We kicked off the process with METR that led to this report earlier in the year, in anticipation of progress continuing to accelerate. For this report, we gave METR access to a range of sensitive internal data, including benchmark scores for unreleased models, estimates of how models are progressing, and interviews with our researchers. They had complete independence to form their own conclusions. Many of their conclusions match my own. AI is speeding up our research, but it’s hard to say exactly how much. While they conclude AI can't yet make the most important contributions to model training on its own, they think the pace of development could, by default, accelerate further. This work began well before and is separate from the embedded third-party evaluators that are part of our commitment to pacing the frontier, but it’s a good illustration of why we think evaluators are a good idea. The more access reviewers have, the clearer a picture they can form of the situation and the better-positioned they are to highlight situations like this one. We redacted a lot, and I accept that this makes it harder for others to check METR’s work. But we determined that sharing exactly what is driving the speedup isn’t the right thing to do, both because it’s commercially sensitive and because it risks handing out a roadmap for others to go faster. That would make the risks METR is worried about worse. That’s a tradeoff. I think we made the right call, though we’re continuing to assess the pros and cons here. In the coming weeks, we plan to share a report with our own analysis of the speed of AI progress within Anthropic, including where we stand against our Responsible Scaling Policy, plus new steps we’re taking to strengthen our safety and security practices as AI keeps improving quickly.
Since August, a team within METR has worked with internal Anthropic information to assess whether AI itself is accelerating AI development. We are now publishing a report summarizing the results of this risk assessment.

Your CRM, ERP and data lake won't change. How people and agents work with them will. Every agent we run starts with amnesia, so all of them read one shared memory first: 658 rules since March, each from a real mistake. Fix it once, fixed for all.
