Are markets actually reacting to tariffs, or just to the uncertainty around them?
In this episode of Exness Trading Talks, Antreas Themistokleous and Stanislav Bernukhov explore how tariffs and markets have become deeply intertwined since Liberation Day in 2025.
Learn why tariff rumors often move prices more than the announcements themselves, and hear what traders should watch in bonds, gold, and the US dollar over the coming weeks.

Natural gas: A bearish reversal taking shape?
After failing to hold above 3.5000, XNGUSD slipped below EMA21 and 3.2500.
The sharp decline and converging EMAs suggest a potential bearish reversal on the daily chart.
A break below EMA120 and 3.0000 could lead to a test of support at 2.7000.
Alternatively, reclaiming 3.2500 may set up a retest of resistance at 3.5000.
Will support hold, or will sellers push lower? #XNGUSD
VOLATILITY ALERT 🚨Nasdaq 100 (USTEC) faces volatility amid shifting Fed expectations and strong earnings.
Can tech earnings outrun the Fed?
Energy-led inflation fears are lifting Fed hike bets, while high borrowing costs hit housing: pending home sales fell 7.3% vs. 0.7% expected.
Tech is the bright spot. SpaceX (SPCX) 3Q26 revenue jumped 161% YoY, and Super Micro raised estimates on AI demand.
What's next? Earnings will test whether AI growth can last.

The euro remained steady as French fiscal concerns offset hawkish signals from ECB members. EURUSD briefly retested EMA120 before bouncing above it. The price continues to fluctuate around flattening EMAs. Staying below 1.1250 may see the price consolidate within 1.1210-1.1250.
Bitcoin prices rebounded following positive projection and ETF approval in Switzerland. The price is above the golden-crossed EMAs, suggesting potential for an uptrend shift. Breaking above the previous swing high may prompt the price to rise toward the resistance at 84000.
Will gold keep sliding toward $4,000? Here’s our trade of the week.
Gold tested dynamic resistance after last week’s range-bound price action and has moved lower for two sessions in a row.
Its close link to AI-driven tech stocks, elevated US bond yields, and this rejection bring us to our trade: going short XAUUSD, targeting $4,000. The catalyst is next week’s Fed rate decision.
With a light calendar this week, price action may stay contained until then.
Will gold hit $4,000?
Bitcoin ETF outflows hit 678.9mln USD, and long-term holder distribution is accelerating—even as institutions keep buying.
Why isn’t it enough to support prices?

The US dollar index weakened following slow US housing reinforced Oct Fed pause expectations. DXY fell below the support at 101.60 before recovering toward EMA24. The index signals potential consolidation. Returning above 101.80 may prompt a move toward the resistance at 102.00.
Improving UK labor data strengthened the pound on BoE rate hike expectations. GBPUSD tested the resistance at 1.3400 before retreating toward 1.3360. The price sustains upward momentum as bullish EMAs diverge. Closing above 1.3400 may prompt a run toward the resistance at 1.3420.
