We are sending our deepest sympathies to the family & friends of former ELL player, Matthew Perrine.
Matthew was a member of the Tee Ball Timber Rattlers, Brewers, Rays and hit a bases loaded double to put his team in the lead in the 2018 Minors Championship Game. 🙏💙
The Frederick Douglass Family is saddened to say that Matthew Perrine passed away unexpectedly on 4/26/25.
We are planning to hold a Celebration of Life on Sunday, May 4th. Details to come.
“The people we love don’t go away. They walk beside us every day.”
#stampede🐎
Please consider supporting his family during this difficult time.

If any of the ELL teams want to take their youth team out to a @UKBaseball game this a great chance to have your kids meet @Coach_Mingione and his players! #GoCats
Thank you to the Central Kentucky ThoroughBats for being our first Farm Team of the season with the TEAM! If your youth team wants to meet @Coach_Mingione and the Cats at an upcoming game, email [email protected] to find out how!
Your ELL fundraising dollars are hard at work improving our parks! The top of our sunshades are being installed at Ecton Park and turf pitching mounds are being installed at Upper Ecton and Upper Merrick.
We can't wait to welcome you to the ballpark this spring!
The spring is upon us and we wanted to share some key dates for the upcoming season. Check out our website for more information about each of these events!
We still have field sign sponsorships available for this spring season at both of our parks. Your field signs will remain up for our summer ball and fall ball season that ends in mid-October.
Deadline to be a field sign sponsor is March 3rd, please email [email protected]

COMING SOON! Thanks to the support of Eastern Little League families and friends we were able to raise enough money last year to install sunshades on both fields at Ecton Park.
Construction has begun-We can't wait to have them ready for our spring season!
