Before it was called Charlotte's Web, the strain had a different name: "Hippie's Disappointment."
The growers named it that because it was so low in THC that nobody wanted it.
Then they met 5-year-old Charlotte Figi. She had Dravet syndrome and was having up to 300 seizures a week. On oil made from that strain, her seizures dropped to about 2 or 3 a month. She started walking and talking again.
Her story set off the medical CBD movement. In 2018, the FDA approved Epidiolex, the first prescription drug made from a cannabis compound. It was also the first drug ever approved for Dravet.
Charlotte passed away in 2020 at 13. The strain nobody wanted still carries her name 💚

Reading books together is an amazing way to develop vocabulary, a love of reading, and host of other skills.
Try to limit or remove all screens as best you can also- they have the opposite effect.
We are so sad Dolly is gone, but her music, and just as important, her kindness will live forever.

NEWS: Practice 1 for the Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham has been postponed until Saturday at 10 AM ET as the race promoter completes final track preparations.
The session will be televised on FS2 and FOX One, with Practice 2 and qualifying to follow.
