Here’s something interesting I found from March 9, 2025, more than a year and a half ago 🇺🇦🛰️ Elon Musk was arguing about Ukraine, and I confronted him directly about Starlink. He openly stated that Ukraine’s entire front line would collapse if he turned it off. I called it hostage diplomacy back then. Think about that. Musk himself was emphasizing how much control he had over a communications system essential to Ukraine’s defense. He knew exactly how dependent Ukraine was on Starlink. Fast-forward to October 2026. Following the controversy over Starlink and Starshield disruptions affecting Ukrainian forces, Musk doubled down on essentially the same argument: Ukraine’s front line would collapse without his technology. Now congressional investigators will be demanding records about those disruptions, who authorized them, and who was responsible. Here’s my point: Musk cannot simply pretend he didn’t understand the power he held or blame everything on Trump, the Pentagon, or somebody else. His own words from March 2025 are evidence that he understood Ukraine’s dependence on Starlink long before the latest controversy. That doesn’t prove he personally ordered every restriction. The records will have to establish that. But he knew the leverage he had. He publicly acknowledged it. And nineteen months later, he was still boasting about it. Let’s see what the documents reveal.
