Started my online journey joining @GadzhiIman course called Digital launchpad.
Before that, I had a dream of becoming a Chartered Accountant.
Covid came & everything collapsed.
So I joined his course & started working from a store room, because I didn't have enough rooms.
I had less than $100 in my bank & joined @retentiongoat event.
Ever since then I am running a Multi 6 figures Email marketing agency from a third world country like Nepal.
And helped my clients generate over 8 figures in Revenue from emails.
Some of the love shown by my clients.
Only up from here insallahš¤

A $10M skincare founder asked Hormozi how to get to $100M.
His margins were already at 15%.
Hormoziās response:
āYou donāt have a brand.ā
Brutal. But thereās a lesson here for every ecom founder trying to scale spend without getting their margins cooked:
1. More revenue can hide a weaker business.
You find a winning angle.
Your ads print.
You increase spend.
But as you scale, you may need to reach people who are harder to convert.
Acquisition gets more expensive. Profit per order gets thinner.
Now youāre managing more inventory, more orders and more cash tied up in the business.
The Shopify screenshot looks better.
The business might not feel better.
2. Buying attention and building preference are different jobs.
A good ad can make someone want a serum.
A strong brand makes them want YOUR serum.
That difference matters when a competitor shows up with similar ingredients, similar claims and a lower price.
What makes the customer stay?
If your only answer is āour offer converts better,ā you can see the problem.
3. āBrandingā needs to mean more than expensive packaging.
Hormozi described it as putting your product next to things people already like, until those feelings become attached to your product.
For a skincare brand, my practical translation would be:
⢠Work with creators your customers already trust.
⢠Build a clear point of view about skincare.
⢠Show the product in routines your customers recognize.
⢠Repeat a believable promise across ads, the site and emails.
⢠Deliver an experience that backs it up.
A creator might get someone to try you.
The product and experience need to give them a reason to stay.
4. The part Iād add: your post-purchase experience is where that preference gets tested.
The customer bought.
Now what?
Do they know how to use the product?
Where it fits in their routine?
What to realistically expect?
Who to ask when theyāre confused?
Or do they just get another 20% off email?
For skincare, Iād build the post-purchase journey around:
ā Getting started correctly.
ā Building a consistent routine.
ā Answering common questions.
ā Checking in on their experience.
ā Replenishing around actual usage.
Youāve already paid to acquire the customer.
Give them a reason to choose you again.
5. Repeat purchases matter more when you know what they cost.
A second order at full price and a second order driven by a deep discount donāt contribute the same profit.
Look beyond repeat purchase rate.
Track:
⢠Time to second order.
⢠60/90-day contribution profit per customer.
⢠Discount use on repeat orders.
⢠CAC payback by acquisition cohort.
A bigger LTV number means less if you keep giving away the margin to get there.
6. Donāt turn the ā70% brand-driven advertisingā comment into a blind budget change.
That was Hormoziās advice in this conversation.
It isnāt proof that every DTC brand should move 70% of spend into awareness campaigns tomorrow.
The useful question is:
Is your advertising building recognition and preference that future campaigns can benefit from?
Or does every new ad have to convince people from scratch?
And branding alone wonāt fix bad COGS, expensive fulfillment or high refunds. You still need to find where the margin is going.
My takeaway:
Keep getting better at acquisition.
But put the same effort into becoming the brand customers remember, use and reorder.
Grüns just sold to Unilever for $1.2B.
I studied 100s of their emails to find out whatās actually working:
- The flows
- The campaign types
- The offers & angles
- The design tricks most brands miss

Ranking what actually matters in email marketing:
S tier:
-Deliverability
- List growth
- Customer research
A tier:
- Copy
- Campaign strategy
- Segmentation
- Offer
- Flows
B tier:
- Design
- A/B testing
C tier:
- Fancy GIFs
- Button colors
- Making every email look like a landing page
F tier:
- "Bro our open rate dropped from 47% to 43%"
FYI: F tier means Fck tier lol
How to turn your first-time buyers into your next growth lever (Ecom bros edition):
- Split first-time buyers by the product they bought
- Check when each group actually places order two
- Find the groups that rarely come back
- Read their support tickets, reviews, and refund reasons
- Fix the biggest usage problem in their onboarding
- Time replenishment around likely usage, quantity, and shipping
- Compare second-order rate and contribution per customer at the same cohort age
The one thing matters the most....
What happens AFTER the sale?
(Assuming you have a badass product)
Ecom bros serious question š
At what monthly revenue does an ecom founder stop saying
ārevenueā
and start saying
ācontribution marginā š
Email agencies bros,
One of our Clients Shopify storeās base currency is USD, but customers can pay in USD, Mexican pesos (MXN), and euros (EUR).
Klaviyo appears to be adding these order amounts together without converting them into USD, affecting campaign, flow, and total revenue reporting.
For example, our Shopify Placed Order events show $34.98 for one order and MX$999.00 for another.
Ideally, how can we report all orders accurately in USD without excluding international purchases?
Is there a supported integration setting or event-property solution? Can it also correct historical reporting?
Overall, how can we make sure @klaviyo tracks data correctly using a single currency?
Thanks!
