A huge moment for veterans today as we deliver the first Veterans ID cards to those who left before 2018.
I made a promise. I’ve kept it. Now to ramp up production. More details to follow on how you can apply for yours. Great to see how happy it made the first to receive theirs.

Brilliant US example of business partnerships & veteran engagement to boost Afghan refugee employment. Let's follow this inspirational example in the UK! Programme enlists military veterans employed at U.S. companies to serve as mentors to 1,500 Afghan refugees. @JohnnyMercerUK
Proud to announce the first 16 U.S. companies joining the @TentOrg, @hiringourheroes, @Afghan_American Afghan Refugee Mentorship Program! 👏
Collectively, U.S. veterans employed by these companies will provide 1:1 professional mentorship to at least 800 Afghans 🇺🇸 🇦🇫 (1/2)

Brilliant @dpg_law who help us support #AfghanInterpreters share powerful evidence @IndependentCI on Afghan Resettlement: "A consequence of causing people to remain in [Afghanistan] while their applications are considered [is that] asylum support has effectively been offshored"

A poignant op-ed by my wonderful co-founder, @de_Jong_Sara, writing about what we tragically see everyday @SulhaAlliance. #afghan #interpreters struggling to find meaningful employment in the UK. Please reach out if you think you can help. #veterans #employment
'Once deployed, now unemployed': Our op-ed on un(der)employment of #Afghan_interpreters. While their first job as young adults was with the @BritishArmy, now the Job Centre treats them as strangers, their glowing military references deemed worthless @TRF news.trust.org/item/20220801…

What a #prophesy we told!
Today 1 year ago, military chiefs sent an open letter to @DefenceHQ, coordinated by @SulhaAlliance, @Charlie533080 & Lord Dannatt, urging for changes in the ARAP scheme "to ensure more Afghan local staff are given sanctuary". Too many are still left behind 1 year later.
Great event this week with @SulhaAlliance thanks to everyone who attended. #afgan #interpreters #community #Glasgow
Afghan interpreters have been reunited with soldiers they served with at a special event.
Charities the @SulhaAlliance and @HelpforHeroes brought them together for a special lunch at a restaurant in Scotland.
