This is an appreciated take. You don’t have to agree with Campbell’s decision, but it’s not that hard to explain it.
I thought the Campbell decision was nuts at first, but when I thought about the clock, it wasn’t that crazy. Even if the defense was actually playing well, punting put the game on them. Going for it put it on the offense. Got lucky it worked out like that, but not crazy.

Another guy with high draft stock suffering a major injury. Hate it for him.
NEW: Texas star OT Trevor Goosby will miss the remainder of the 2026 season due to injury, ESPN reports. on3.com/news/texas-ol-trevor…

A quick sports communication tip, because I’ve heard this mistake a lot lately: You can’t say, “Team X scored 28 unanswered points before Team Y scored a touchdown.” If Team Y scored a touchdown, **they answered.** That’s what “unanswered” means.

SMU needs to make the plane out of the entire second half. Again. #PonyUp

Perhaps should be discussed as a major change to the game thanks to replay in addition to runners keeping a body part on the bag at all times.
If you were to grab replays from any game between 2000-2015 you would see the middle infielders touch second base MAYBE 40% of the time on a double play. You were literally taught not to

Yes. At the same time, if a private equity firm determines Ohio State could make more money by never playing at Michigan again, what's stopping college football's decision-makers from sacrificing one of the sport's greatest rivalries in the name of maximizing revenue?
Ditching conference title games almost erases the meaning of conference titles, and they really do become simply groups with pooled media rights. If that's all they are, why wouldn't Miami, Ohio State, Michigan, etc., eventually go indie or form their own/smaller groups?

Actually my friends and I agree that confirmation bias is the best.
Just found out about recency bias. Maybe the most important bias ever

We’re all in agreement not sleeping is bad, right?
How committed is Jalen Hurts to football? After initially being diagnosed with a superficial blood clot in London, doctors told him not to sleep as a precaution, so he had been awake for roughly 36 hours when he started against the Jaguars, throwing for 220 yards and a TD.

Over the last ten seasons, I looked at how well the eventual college football National Champion played up to this point in the season. Here is why, after some chaos the last two weeks, I believe there are only nine real contenders left: edwithsports.substack.com/p/…

Go to @GrindingMocks and see just how many Longhorns are projected to get drafted early. That shows you exactly how unacceptable these last two losses are for #Texas.
