It's not about "realism". It's about solid cohesive creature design. Dinosaurs should at mimimum bare a passing resemblance to what species they're supposed to be. The "genetic abomination" is a poor copout excuse and that's why many Jurassic World dinos got the flak that they do
I'm not sure how I feel about most new dinos losing their signature ARK 'unrealism', artistically. Nearly everything in-game is a genetic approximation-abomination made from whatever the URE & Terran Federation could salvage of the real extinct animals.

The Surviving Earth video that launched on Friday has already surpassed all of the Primeval videos and half of the Prehistoric Park reviews. I guess this is what I do now.

Brazil’s results tonight are a big endorsement for the idea that every country should have a second “are you you sure about that” election a couple weeks after the first one for the important stuff

Imagine how much it must suck ass to be a member of the far-right in the UK. You’ve spent years convincing yourself that Reform UK is an aligned government in waiting just for them to become a neoliberal shill party for boomers. You told yourself Restore would be electable just for them to top out at 3%. During the most intense period of right-wing cultural dominance in 21st century Western history, Labour clung onto power the entire time and is now restoring the two party status quo. If an election were held tomorrow they would probably win it and be able to govern an another five years. The Americanised right-wing that once created the red mirage illusion is utterly crumbling, Trump 2.0 has turned out to be a hideous warmongering disaster that will result in Democrat dominance in the USA and the end of the right-wing cultural moment. There is nothing coming in the near future either. The British youth are overwhelmingly progressive, it’s only going to get worse when the boomers die in the coming couple of decades. What a depressing, devastating reality. I would feel bad but they 100% deserve it.

Labour knows the consequences of the climate crisis. Their own words prove it. Yet when it comes to Jackdaw, they’ve put the fossil fuel industry first.

using government calculations for climate harm, burning Jackdaw's gas will cause an estimated £16.1 billion in global damage and over 8,000 heat-related deaths. all of this for 27 jobs and no impact on gas prices. no other way to describe this than an act of violence.

Remember that the reason Reform and the Tories keep hoping for an early general election is because they're worried that a significant percentage of their voter base will have died of old age by 2029.

The ULEZ and the electrification of public transport has transformed London from “the Big Smog” to one of the cleanest major cities on the planet. This has saved thousands of lives. And to think, the right-wing campaigned vigorously against this.

Just had four "Christians" try to tell me that C.S. Lewis would have killed his own family members for endorsing a film adaptation of his book directed by a woman featuring another woman as Aslan. This isn't going to go the way you think guys.
Replying to @BigDickBarclay
C.S. Lewis, a devout Christian, would not in fact have killed his own family with hammers. Or anyone for that matter.
