Did you know a child should read 500 books by the time they start Grade R ? Yes, 500!
Two more pay days in 2026; please buy your children books.
Make your vote pay off; the party that got your vote must ensure municipality's part in ensuring free and full access to a library.

Avery Bernard Johns, a Howard University student, created a database of missing and murdered Black women and girls in Washington, D.C., to ensure they are recognized, their cases tracked, and none overlooked.
It’s wonderful that someone really cares about missing Black and Brown people. Congratulations on this much-needed data source. ❤️

With the declaration of 2026 Local Government Elections, my term as the Executive Mayor of the City of Tshwane has ended.
Thank you, residents of Tshwane.
You were patient as we began the process of turning around a broken city. We have laid a solid foundation for rebuilding the Capital City 🇿🇦.
Thank you for trusting us with your households and for never chasing us away from your communities.
My love and commitment to the people Tshwane is unwavering.
ActionSA’s Tshwane caucus is ready to camp in all communities to ensure that services are delivered.

I believe him 😅, I like Mashaba because he lacks nuance and that common dishonesty that a regular politician has. Remember he was the CEO of Free Market Foundation and truly believed that black people just had to be entrepreneural and all their problems would be gone 😅.

He was largely being shielded from racism because of his wealth and racism couldn't really harm or adversely impact his life. Then he joined DA because he believed racism doesn't exist 😅, then he found out😅.

Time to arrest Kallie Kriel for treason. Why are we tolerating these treasonous racists who fought to keep apartheid. @RonaldLamola @CyrilRamaphosa @afriforum

The election results will be announced soon by @IECSouthAfrica.
Yet, here I am looking at St Charles L'wanga Centre 32860942 in Ward 5 Jhb.
The result form says 543 valid ward votes. But your official result says 1054.
The capturer typed the SUM into the ward column.
Every party is inflated in a similar way.
Your audit did not pick this up, and your Exception Report did not stop it.

Another Lucrative Business Idea You Can Start In Your Kasi Is TOOLS FOR HIRE.
You will be targeting small contractors and individuals that might need certain tools to work on their projects. Tools such as grinders, scaffolds, drills, step ladders, generators, jack hammers, circular saw, concrete mixer, etc.
Don’t overspend on buying lot of tools at the start: buy a minimum viable inventory based on your market research. Once you get started, buy more of the tools that are in demand.
It is cheaper and easier to buy more tools later than to get rid of excess unwanted tools

Municipalities have powers over:
1. Business licensing and trading regulation, within their lawful mandate.
2. Informal street trading.
Land use, zoning and building regulations.
3. Municipal public spaces and amenities.
4. Municipal by-law enforcement and local public safety.
These powers arise from section 156 and Schedules 4B and 5B of the Constitution.

I just pitched a major TV producer my idea for a reality show where six CEOs have to survive for 30 days on the wages they pay their lowest-paid workers.
He said the network would reject it because the living conditions would be considered inhumane.
