The MVA renewal fee was expensive. However, living in VA and having to pay ANNUAL PROPERTY TAXES on a CAR exposed how much other states have to pay that MD donāt. Itās a toss up. Yall with them fake ass VA tags wouldnāt know, but those of us with REAL VA tags KNOW THE TRUTH.

Marylanders are smart and savvy voters. Weāre re-electing Wes Moore. Period.
Letās clarify some facts about things people are complaining about.
š Car Reg: Yeah, it sucks but it pays for our roads.
šØ Emissions (+ $16): Hadnāt been raised since 1997.
š Tire Surcharge (+ $20): My tires cost $1,000āanother $20 didnāt break the bank. Most people get tires every 3-5 years.
š Weed Tax: Hasnāt stopped dispensaries from being packed every time I go.
ā” BGE: Corporate greed, but state legislation is delivering real rebates.
š Housing: Costs are high everywhere, not just in MD. If you own a home, make sure you have homestead.
š Key Bridge: Modern infrastructure projects take longer due to stricter regulatory and engineering standards.
Stop holding Wes Moore solely responsible for the fees in budgets that your state Delegates and Senators created and passed in the Maryland General Assembly.
Is MD perfect? NO, but giving your vote to MAGA Dan Cox aināt it.
This was signed into law in 2024.

HOWEVER, I implore you to look into why these changes were made and understand how the Maryland General Assembly works. The MGA proposed legislation for this increase AKA your elected representatives per district and he signed the bill into law
THIS WHY LOCAL ELECTIONS MATTER. If you do not like it, then participate in local elections by what? VOTING!
Find out who your state representative is and bring them up on charges. Attend the town halls. Make your voices heard. We sit around and complain yet remain misinformed everytime election season rolls around
THAT IS WHY, āIām not votingā doesnāt work for me. At minimum, help initiate the change you want to see.
Dan Cox is still not the right choice for Maryland at this time. PERIOD!

When Federal employees lost their jobs, Wes Moore was picking up the slack to get people in the DMV state jobs. Also, he has provided some electricity assistance as well. Our minimum wage rose to $15 while he has been in office and he is still focused on raising wages.
As a teacher I want to know what is the real consequence of the Commanders losing? What is the consequence of a losing season?
