This is a sad reality of the current state of salaries in Nigeria.
N250,000 in 2014 is worth more than 6x today.
Pelumi Joseph, on the current low salaries of Big 4 firms in Nigeria.
He says when he started his career in PwC about 19 years ago, his salary was $1,000 per month.
Today, an entry level salary in a big 4 is about $500.
This shows Nigerians are poorer as a result of inflation.
About $22.7 trillion was printed in 2022 which contributed to inflation.

Ignorance is not necessarily a moral failing; intellectual dishonesty is.
Nobody can know everything. We all have gaps in our understanding, and there is nothing inherently wrong with that. The problem begins when we form convictions about things we haven’t bothered to understand, present speculation as fact, and then resist correction because the misinformation happens to serve our existing biases.
We have unprecedented access to information. The minimum intellectual responsibility should be to investigate before making an assertion, distinguish what we know from what we assume, and remain willing to revise our positions ( Bayesian epistemology)
And perhaps the most important part is recognising that being informed is not the same as being right, but being unwilling to become informed is an entirely avoidable problem.
Good morning. Intellectual honesty should be non negotiable.
Wanting to *feel* a certain way about certain things is kinda…
Recipe for disaster

My CNC kink isn’t about wanting to be raped 😭 it’s about wanting someone to need, crave and desire me so badly that the idea of me saying no drives them crazy. It’s the fantasy of being wanted THAT bad, not wanting my actual consent violated. There’s a difference.

Web3 projects worth paying attention to in 2026.
The Web3 space rewards research, timing, execution and strong communities.
Some projects have already recorded impressive market movements this year. Here are a few worth discussing.
1. SPARK Coded (@Spark_coded)
Starting with one I have a closer connection to.
SPARK Coded recorded an impressive move of approximately 12x from its bottom to its peak.
It’s a reminder that opportunities can emerge before the wider market starts paying attention.
2. Venice AI (@AskVenice)
An interesting name in the AI ecosystem, exploring private and decentralized access to AI tools.
3. Moolah
Another project that recorded significant market movement and deserves further research.
4. Alaya AI (@Alaya_AI)
AI and decentralized data are narratives worth watching, and Alaya AI is an interesting project in this space.
5. Kinetiq (@Kinetiq_xyz)
Liquid staking and DeFi infrastructure remain important parts of the evolving ecosystem.
6. Derive (@derive_xyz)
An interesting project building within the on-chain derivatives market.
7. Bedrock (@Bedrock_DeFi)
Another DeFi infrastructure project worth keeping on the radar.
8. Diem
A project that also caught attention through its reported market performance.
The bigger picture:
I believe successful BD starts with research.
You need to understand what projects are building, identify potential opportunities, recognize strong teams and know how to connect ecosystems.
I don’t just want to follow the market. I want to understand it, contribute to it and build relationships
