ANOTHER ROBBERY OF AN E-HAILING DRIVER | Woman-led robbery captured via dashcam on Friday, 30 Oct, in Hillbrow/Berea, @ the cnr of Lilly & Joel Streets.
Apparently, the perpetrators where arrested by Hillbrow @SAPoliceService who are looking for the victim to come & open a case.
ARRESTED: We are pleased @SAPoliceService prompt investigation by members from Eldorado Park Crime Intelligence (VISPOL) yesterday led to the arrest of five suspects in connection with an armed robbery targeting an e-hailing driver in Eldorado Park Extension 7.
Another robbery of an e-hailing driver in Eldorado Park, Ext 6. They say "shoot him, shoot him....." it is believed that the driver survived this brutality.

Allegedly, the recent robbery of an e-hailing driver at Eldorado Park led by Angelique was not an isolated crime. This criminal syndicate has been robbing drivers for a while. 1 of the drivers says they robbed him last year, same lady. With him, they took him to a dead-end street

We are sorry about that. One of the drivers who reached to us was robbed last year by the same criminal syndicate. With him they took him to a dead-end street.
EPCO SG @MnguniChris was also robbed in Eldorado Park, he opened a @SAPoliceService case but was never contacted by IO.

For ride requests originating from high-risk areas, Uber and Bolt hide the area name in the pickup address so that drivers are unaware that the request is coming from Eldorado Park. All because they don't care for the drivers lives as they are not held accountable.

Molemo 'Jub Jub' Maarohanye has been arrested. He faces charges for kidnapping, defeating the ends of justice and discharging a firearm in public. Police Spokesperson, Brigadier Athlenda Mathe, said Maarohanye was allegedly involved in an altercation with an e-hailing driver in Edenvale.
