Charles Leclerc says his discussion with Lewis Hamilton and Fred Vasseur following the Mexico GP has brought calm back to Ferrari. “We talked things through, we both said what we thought, and it brought a lot of calm to the situation.” “I don’t particularly want to reignite something that has already dragged on for far, far too long.” Leclerc also described becoming a father for the first time as making this a “dream week” in his personal life. ❤️ #F1 | #BrazilGP 🇧🇷

MISSED CHANCE George Russell was disappointed with his P2 result, believing he could have had pole if his team had not asked him to abort his lap, which he thinks could have taken him above Lando Norris. He will start the race from P7 once his grid penalty is applied and will be looking for a good start. #f1 #formula1 #brazilgp

». 🚨 Lewis Hamilton reportedly believes he deserves priority over Charles Leclerc at Ferrari due to his advantage in the championship standings. According to AutoRacer, Hamilton feels his position in the standings should translate into preferential treatment within the team. However, Fred Vasseur has made it clear that Ferrari will not establish a driver hierarchy, with both drivers continuing to receive equal treatment. Ferrari’s position remains unchanged: neither driver is bigger than the team. (via. @Auto_Racer_it) #F1

🚨 MONTAOYA'DAN VASSEUR'ÜN YETKİSİNE DİKKAT ÇEKEN YORUM! 👀 Juan Pablo Montoya, Fred Vasseur'ün Ferrari'deki yetkisini, Toto Wolff'ün Mercedes'teki konumuyla karşılaştırdı: 🗣️ Montoya: "Fred takım patronu ancak ona, Mercedes'te takım patron yardımcısı olan Bradley [Lord] gibi bakıyorsunuz. Dışarıdan bakıldığında Fred, tüm kararları tek başına veren kişi olarak görünmüyor."

🚨| Claims of Factionalism at Ferrari as Hamilton Seeks Status: — John Watson, a former Grand Prix winner, believes Ferrari is divided into two factions, with Charles Leclerc supported by a group linked to the Todt family. Speaking on the Drive to Wynn podcast, Watson explained: “You've got the Leclerc faction, which is very well connected through [former Ferrari team principal] Jean Todt, now Nicholas Todt, who's the manager for Charles Leclerc, and then you've got the Lewis faction.” — Watson further elaborated on the dynamics within Ferrari, noting that Lewis Hamilton expected more respect upon joining the team. He remarked: “Lewis, the seven-time world champion, came to Ferrari thinking he would be given more respect, but Leclerc wants to be the next Ferrari world champion. Lewis likewise has, but I think Leclerc is well-embedded, as is his management group.” The discussion arises amid ongoing debates about Ferrari's internal politics following a clash between Leclerc and Hamilton in Mexico. Leclerc received a five-second penalty, while Hamilton finished second and Leclerc fourth. The incident has sparked speculation about who holds the real power at Ferrari. Jean Todt, a key figure in Ferrari's past success, and his son Nicolas, who manages Leclerc, are central to these discussions. Nicolas Todt has a longstanding professional relationship with Fred Vasseur, Ferrari's current team principal, adding another layer to the perceived influence. — Leclerc's contract with Ferrari, extended before the Monaco Grand Prix, suggests his strong position within the team. Meanwhile, Hamilton's contract details remain undisclosed, though he has indicated a commitment until at least 2027, with an option for 2028. — Vasseur recently met with both drivers, emphasizing the need for mutual respect and prioritizing the team. #lewishamilton 🇬🇧 #scuderiaferrari 🇮🇹 #charlesleclerc 🇲🇨 VIA: [gpblog]
