yes, Pokemon is a 1000x bigger IP than anything in NFTs rn with proven longevity of the brand. That doesn't mean there aren't warning signs. - Counterfeit/PSA issues with rapidly growing concern only exacerbated by AI (like everything else) - Supply is infinitely large, when the demand slows even slightly, the equation tilts quickly - Bottlenecks at grading, shipping, listing, etc. it's an inefficient process that 100x more short-term traders have entered into on the buying side within the last 12 months. Trying to force into the selling side all at once will be catastrophic - Overleverage is appearing in the system in the forms of hundreds of gacha/gamified companies that have accounted for a significant amount of demand and supply control Pokemon is a great IP, but cycles are still cycles. I also think one end point of this is that more physical products like TCGs will recognize the importance and necessity of utilizing blockchain technology.
