Had an engaging fireside chat with @prashanthp and @harshilmathur at the inaugural session of the World Fintech Summit 2025, organised in collaboration with the @ITBTGoK Department in Bangalore this year. Karnataka's fintech industry has witnessed exceptional growth, growing from $100 billion in 2024 to $145 billion in 2025. With a projected 30.55% CAGR, it is on track to hit $550 billion by 2030. At the session, I spoke about the importance of building stronger partnerships between government and industry, streamlining regulations and scaling up sandbox environments that allow fintech innovators to test and grow quickly. The fintech Centre of Excellence, supported by the Karnataka government, continues to play a central role in nurturing this ecosystem bringing together startups, financial institutions and technology leaders to drive meaningful innovation. As India cements its place as a fintech leader, Karnataka is leading the next wave of global fintech innovation.
