@RoyCooperNC is my Senator
Retained @Anita_Earls and captured the State House, too! #ncpol
#BackRowBrenden will have a much harder time yelling and slinging books in January. #ncpol
North Carolinians deserve relief at the pump, and Republicans will continue working to make life more affordable for our constituents.
That’s why we’re returning to Raleigh next week to address affordability at the pump, including the potential suspension of the gas tax.
Stay tuned for more. #ncpol
Seems like Addy needs a few newspaper clippings mailed to him. This aged like milk y’all! #ncpol
.@Addison_McD: "When we elect Michael Whatley to the Senate on November 3rd, I'm going to mail Roy Cooper a newspaper clipping and I'm going to tell him, 'enjoy retirement Roy,' because Michael Whatley is going to finally retire that loser!"
Bye girl
First, I congratulate Congressman-Elect Paul Barringer on the successful campaign that he ran. I am ready to assist him and his team in any way going forward.
Next, and most importantly, I thank the wonderful people of the 13th District for the honor of serving you in Congress for the last two years.
Last night's results put our country on a new path, one that I believe will make life harder on our families and businesses.
While disappointed, I remain committed to fighting for the principles that made this country great. Now is not the time to shrink back, but to keep the faith and work to preserve the gift of freedom we inherited.
It is my privilege to work with each of you now, and going forward, to make our country stronger and more prosperous for every American. May God Bless you and may He continue to bless our great country.
Happy Birthday to @RepHudsonNC!
Postscript to this: today (November 4th) also happens to be @RepRichHudson's birthday.
Good news: he'll soon have much more free time to spend with his family. Congrats! 🎁

I feel like Darline is relieved, tbh.
Thank you, South Carolina.
Serving this state and being our party’s nominee has been the honor of a lifetime. While tonight’s result was not what we hoped for, I am grateful for every supporter, volunteer, staff member, friend, and family member who stood beside us.
After losing my beloved brother Lindsey, your prayers and kindness carried our family through some of our hardest days. That love means more than words can express.
I have congratulated Annie Andrews and wished her and her family well. Though this campaign has ended, my love for South Carolina and my belief in America’s promise remain steadfast. Our work continues, and I still believe our best days are ahead.
God bless South Carolina, and God bless America. 🇺🇸
I hope Amy and Sam get to be seatmates
Last winter, Sen. Amy Galey left then-Sheriff Sam Page a letter saying that his candidacy (and Berger’s spending in the primary) would cost Sens. Michael Lee, Lisa Stone Barnes & Chris Measmer their seats.
Senate Republicans lost all three of those seats.

Probably should have campaigned
Rep. Richard Hudson of North Carolina, chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee, loses his re-election bid, NBC News projects. nbcnews.com/politics/2026-el…
Girl you took it lightly by barely campaigning lmao
I’m deeply humbled and grateful for the trust the people of North Carolina’s 10th District have placed in me.
Representing this district is an honor and a responsibility I will never take lightly. Whether you voted for me or not, my commitment remains the same: to listen, work hard, and deliver for the people we serve.
Thank you for the opportunity to continue serving you. The work continues.
God bless North Carolina, and God bless America.
See ya at Biscuitville, Timmy
On the first day of early voting, U.S. Congressman Tim Moore spoke at a conference in Raleigh and said his seat was "not considered competitive" and that he was campaigning "even though I probably wouldn't have to if I didn't want to."
He was wrong.
