I was silenced for a long time. And then imprisoned. I am fighting to prove my innocence and come home to my babies and the love of my life.
I have now been imprisoned for 1,216 endless days and nights. During that time, as we fight for freedom, my loved ones have helped manage my account. Billy is one of the people carrying that responsibility for me. He fights fiercely for me and our family. I love him beyond space and time.

ABC won't talk to me in person even when I track down a news truck full of reporters!
@ABC News continues to lie, this time privately to their friends in the press. This was a coordinated influence operation planted by our competition, not "premature publication".
7:01 AM October 7th, story goes live. Within minutes, dozens of high-profile commentators, politicians, and news outlets are sharing it with tens of millions of followers. We immediately contact ABC and demand they correct their false claims - after multiple rounds of refusal, they finally make a single one-word grammar edit. The editors stand by the reporting and insist the false claims are true.
Finally, eight hours after I was forced to call them out publicly, they delete everything. The editors hide all the comments, the author deletes his X account, and the story is completely wiped from their website without any explanation, directly violating SPJ ethics standards and ABC's own internal rules.
ABC is currently running a coverup operation, ignoring all of our requests for correction/retraction while telling their buddies to spread the word that this was nothing more than a CMS publication timeline error.
As my fingers split apart from my Wills' and Ivy's when they went through that door, I kept thinking how completely grateful I am. I know all we have is this moment. We don't know what the future holds. We are alive. Thank God we have our health. And in that moment we were together. Our hearts are connected until we are together again. And I get to be loving them and my love with every fiber of my being. I am wrapped in gratitude.

15 years ago today, I stared out of an airplane window in shock at the sight of my city, Seattle. I hadn't slept in 48 hours. It looked unreal, like a model train diorama. When the airplane door opened, I was struck by the smell of trees and rain after four years trapped in a concrete box.

The plague outbreak in Siberia, Russia has expanded w/5 hospitals now under QUARANTINE: Irkutsk Hospitals No. 1, No.3, No.10, Ivano-Matreninskaya Children's Hospital, and an unnamed maternity hospital (Lyudi Baikala news, Moscow Times).
Quarantine is NOT voluntary. Even in the U.S., quarantine is among the most extraordinary measures gov't can impose on American citizens who haven't been convicted, or even accused, of committing a crime. Quarantine means being forcibly confined and medically examined by law. U.S. quarantine can be imposed on anyone infected by a legally quarantinable disease listed below (this can change). One should assume Russia's quarantine protocols are even more severe. As of 2026, under Executive Order 14047, legally quarantinable diseases in the U.S. are:
■ Plague
■ Smallpox
■ Viral hemorrhagic fevers
■ Cholera
■ Diphtheria
■ Yellow fever
■ Infectious tuberculosis
■ Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS)
■ Flu that can cause a pandemic
■ Measles

You ask me about family, about why I chose to have children in the face of fighting to prove my innocence.
My children are my angels. They are God's angels. I am the luckiest person in the world to be blessed by having them in our lives. The gift of becoming a mother, of building our family on a foundation of such deep love is God answering a prayer I've held my whole life. I know what it means to be blessed and to lose. The greatest truth I know is that no dream nor ambition -- nothing -- matters more than family.
Yes I thought I would win at trial, and then on appeal.
I still believe I will prove my innocence, and the fact I haven't yet torments me every single night. But I would give my life for a moment holding and loving them.
And I know they will grow up knowing what it means to stand in the face of impossible odds for what you know is right and true, and in so doing, be truly free.

Every day I write letters with moms fighting for their children, fighting for love, fighting to build and protect that bond in the face of deployments or divorces or crushing work demands to be able to provide for them.
What I know is that love transcends the physical.
Bodies can be in two different places, and yet your hearts can be in each other's. You can be so present when you're together those moments transcend time. And the fires we are put through only forge and anneal us together when what we live and fight for is love. That bond can never be broken.
