On the day of his arrest, law enforcement executed a search warrant at Salmons’ residence in Leburn, Kentucky, seizing multiple pieces of electronic equipment used to facilitate the activity. During subsequent police interviews, Salmons reportedly admitted to owning the flagged accounts. Investigators revealed that Salmons confessed to utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) software to deliberately generate the sexually explicit material involving minors before distributing it online. Following the state charges, the case was officially transferred to federal court processing by late October 2026, and he remains detained at the Kentucky River Regional Jail.
