On Sunday night I had to rush Wallis to the emergency vet. She had a tumour growing on her heart that had burst and subsequently collapsed one lung and had started causing her heart to fail and I had to make the decision to put her down.
She had only turned 4 on 15/06/25 😞

You guys remember how a bunch of people died during the snowstorm in Texas last year because their infrastructure couldn't handle that kind of weather, and everyone was sympathetic and understanding?
They keep pushing my test of cure back because it’s not technically cancer care and therefore not a priority but we won’t know if I need further cancer care til they do the bloody test
My blood oxygen is 87-88% and the soonest I can see a medical professional is a nurse is the 19th who would then decide whether it’s important enough to need to see a GP.
(Also yes all my nails are clubbed)
I love that we have an NHS but it would be really nice if it functioned.

DWP are getting rid of legacy benefits and I genuinely cannot take trying to apply for universal credit and begging the DWP again to accept that the deformity in my spine, ribs and hip is indeed a disability that won’t go away for at least a year all to continue to get pittance.
My bathroom floor caved in and my house is full of slugs and my mam ideally wanted me to wait two weeks till my dad came up but I simply cannot shit in a bucket for that long

I’m SICK of explaining why people shouldn’t say, don’t have kids if you can’t afford them. One more time. A few years ago I had a partner, we had a beautiful family, he died. I had four kids, ages 3, 5, 6 and 15yrs old. I didn’t have the luxury of family to help me with childcare. I couldn’t earn enough and we were grieving, I had no other option than go on UC. I never wanted you to feed my kids, I just needed a helping hand onto my feet. That’s it. I don’t know what society is if we can’t help each other in times of need. I’m sick of greed vs need but it’s always need who are judged.
