Latest GPS data we received from AVE 02080 involved in today's railway accident in Spain, visualized by #TrainTracker24's playback system.
- 8:33, AVE 02080 stopped. Three other southbound trains did the same. Were they alerted to the faulty signaling?
- 8:43, ten minutes later, it started moving again.
- 8:54, traveling at ~145 km/h, it collided with Iryo's train.
- The GPS position got updated at 8:59:48, this is the rollback shown on the map.
Currently, all trains in the area are excluded from live data feeds. Traffic remains suspended between Madrid and Seville.
