👀I'm just thrilled to have all these great legal historians @umichlaw this semester! It's going to be great.

The CFP for the Michigan Juniors Scholars Conference is now available. Submissions are due 1/5.
This is always a fantastic event @UMichLaw each year. Junior scholars in all fields should apply!

This academic year, I'm teaching a mini-seminar called, "What do professors do in the summer?" I'm excited for us to chat and chart paths.
What articles, posts, etc. should we read as we consider (legal) academic career paths? Anyone know of similar courses elsewhere?
I'm interested in a broad range of readings as prompts for us to consider. For example, one that comes to mind is @lisareneepruitt's "How You Gonna' Keep Her Down on the Farm." Another is the annual entry level hiring report from @PrawfsBlawg.
Great review from @saramayeux over @IReadJotwell right in time ➡️ @SeanVanatta gives a lunch talk here @UMichLaw today at noon on his new book, Plastic Capitalism.
