Russell Brand was made a sexpest and a narcissist by his childhood.
He produced a film confronting his own father as catharsis and revenge against the man who abandoned him as a baby.
Men raised without an heroic and present father figure often have an unstable sense of self, where the ego becomes feminised by the mother and sexualised.
The hit documentary targeting Brand included women testifying that he was manipulative and a spiteful dominant with a "glazed-eye" expression, obsessed with the sexual validation.
Male sexuality can be not only predatory, but also spiteful. The act of conquest becomes proof of the parents' misjudgment.
Many such cases.
Video – Re:Brand "Dad fight"
Russell Brand has been convicted of raping a woman who sucked him off at a show, explicitly traveled to his house for sex, and rimmed him, all while having a boyfriend.
Generally, women are attracted to high-status, feminine, and narcissistic men, but out of the 1,000+ women Brand bedded, a few may have felt like they got something regretful. Something a bit more spiteful, something rougher or novel, possibly embarrassing to report to the sisterhood.
Aside from the fact that juries may not be acquainted with certain kinds of sexual dynamics, or with BPD women inclined to fantasise, they are willing to convict based on a version of events retold to friends and nurses, and brought to the law 20 years later, alongside a woman's post-hoc feelings.
Men are in immense legal peril, especially celebrity men.
Women are not always wonderful.

It was consensual sex!! Apparently she didn’t want it in the bum during their consensual sex. She is a bitch! You don’t ruin a man’s life 20 years later over that! Especially a man with three little kids! Evil bitch
And considering Brand has always talked barely coherent rubbish, it's quite embarrassing and disconcerting that Burnham and cronies were taken in by him.
Russell Brand's conviction has exposed quite a lot of misogyny on here, I see. Along with a wilful misunderstanding of trauma.
How about having to get on with it, like a grown-up, when you can never have the kids you wanted? The living with that sadness and functioning anyway, being loving and caring about other people's kids. Sucking up that absence. If that's not grown up, I don't know what is.
Angela Eagle on @TimesRadio this morning. High-handed and prickly and coming on to tell us absolutely nothing about something she can't tell us about now and we'll have to wait and see. Ridiculous. I enjoyed @StigAbell just letting her make a fool of herself
Carol and her daughter Anna have been two of the most unpleasant characters of recent times. I prefer Clive Horrobin and Brian Aldridge, and that's saying something. At least Carol's dead now and we don't have to listen to her incessant sniping #TheArchers

I think “don’t wear huge fake boobs to work” is just one of those expectations that up to now has seemed so obvious nobody has ever thought to actually spell it out
Got a horrible feeling Russell Brand's going to walk free. It's all hideous, his defence team should be ashamed of themselves. They surely must feel like sh*t inside spewing out all this misogynist bollocks on his behalf.
The John Lewis ads now are like the fading Hollywood star who's still trying to prove they're number one at the box office.
Also, Jack was massively anti-Inga in the last series, now suddenly he's all 'she's my friend, why can't I be friends with her'. What? Make it make sense #MadeInChelsea
I can't believe they've dredged this tedious Inga/Jazz storyline up again. It was boring before, it's mind-numbing now #MadeinChelsea
One of the more terrifying Halloween images this year. Imagine opening the door to find JD Vance in a wig on the other side of it
All the people completely misunderstanding how addiction works. Addiction is fuelled by a desperate need to self-medicate. It is not quite as simple as choice. People who suffer from trauma choose to make their unbearable feelings go away. And why wouldn't they?
